    Strap in for a wild ride through Miami as I put a monstrous 997.1 Porsche Turbo to the test. This isn't your average 911 Turbo - it's an 800HP behemoth fine-tuned by AIM Performance, equipped with Tial Alpha 28 turbos, AWE tech, and so much more.
    Today, I'm on a mission to discover if this upgraded legend has what it takes to be my next daily driver. With the agility of my 997 GT3 RS, the comfort needed for daily use, and the practicality of back seats, could this Porsche be the perfect amalgamation of performance and usability?
    Join me for an in-depth review as we dissect the technical upgrades that make this 997.1 Turbo stand out. We'll dive into the driving dynamics that have transformed an already iconic model into one of the most exhilarating 997s ever to hit the streets.
    A huge shoutout to Zweck for giving us the opportunity to experience this engineering masterpiece. Watch as we push the limits on the Miami roads and decide whether this Turbo could take the crown as one of the greatest cars of all time.

    Great video description of the 997 turbo & lots or truth in it. What a blast! DSC controller is a must if it don’t have one. I had a 996 Turbo stick and it was a very fun and great car. Now I have a 997 Turbo Tiptronic and I love it. The 911 turbo is the best all round sports car ever made & Imo the 997 Turbo is the best generation ever. Looks, size, comfort, performance, etc everything you said. Cheers

    911 turbos are supernaturally stable at speed.

    I had a 997.1 manual and the turbo whoosh always put a smile on my face. NA for me but everyone needs to experience a turbo if possible. This modified example looks too menacing to me lol. Happy New Year brother!

    I have one of these, engine done by TPC, same HP, and DSC controller and full suspension (and factory Fuchs replica wheels). I recently added the factory updated/modern head unit. Thing is perfect now.

    A big hi from the UK. Really cool video. I've had my 997 turbo since new. It's totally stock, in GT Silver too. I have thought of up grading but, I can't bring my self to get the 992 as it seems a big car. As you said in your video, it's the perfect size 911 and perfectly proportioned. Just had the suspension refresh, now it feels like new again, so I now no longer feel the urge to sell it. They do look nice. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for your feedback. Any mods done to your car? If so, I wouldn't trade it for a 992 or 991.2, ever.

    Beautiful car. I never really enjoyed driving high HP cars personally. It’s no fun to hit jail speeds before I’m even out of 2nd gear.

    • @MiamiMiles

      This is a drawback... That being said, even with this power level, it's so much slower than modern hybrid/turbo supercars. It's crazy how fast things are getting.

    Defo the "last best built" of the 911's, dry sump mezger, so tuneable and reliable, the facts are anything newer was built around emissions and cost only.
    The later DFI engines now seeing carbon build up, cheaper build will mean break more easy down the line, btw hey from the UK.

    what an outstanding choice. buying a built turbo is that you can USUALLY get one with crazy money invested for less than a stock one. if you love porsche why not buy one that will give you to most porsche feeling on meth every time you drive it. my brother rarely drives his 993 turbo with 22k in guards because something that's bought for 75-80k now worth 225-250 its become to valuable to drive. when your more worried about putting 20 miles on it instead of go out and driving it like your were auditioning for Smokey and the Bandit 4. why keep it. if I buy a 911 its because a love it some much I will find reasons to use for far more than a daily. in closing this is the best thing for a 911 lover. there are 911 lovers that would turn over in the grave but that's understand able. they can keep there's stock. myself I'll take an aim1400 stroker bottom end, fuel system and a stand alone system. preferably that someone else paid for!!!!!! F-ING yeah bubba. buy this mofo today bro!!! cant wait to see ripping up the roads. cheers

      Love your comment. So on point. When I buy a 997 Turbo, I’m gonna very happy. Like you said, it’s annoying that every mile in my GT3RS costs so much. Imagine being able to put infinite miles on a car that is Almost as raw, way faster, and has back seats for my little babies…. Can’t wait to pick one up in the near future. Have a great new year my friend!

      i cant wait to see it. you got such splendid taste. ived loved every car ive seen. oh yes please. big pwer equals big fun. so awesome to get responses back i love it. have you been lucky enough to make the pilgramige to RUF at the new american HQ. if you need a quick(LONG)vlog you could go and so far be first to go and show everyone around, drive whatever they will allow. theres not one fan who wouldnt give a kidney to go and be the first.. those cars have to be so otherworldly. when porsche says take our pinnacle of technology and racing heritage and make it better you know some serious shit is gonna go down!!!!! awesome chat. id love to do it again sometime. until then be well and healthy band continue driving them like your punching your final clock tomorrow. cheers@@MiamiMiles

    Can't straight pipe a turbo ;)
    But if you get an x-pipe with no mufflers and 200 cell cats (like mine) it will sound about right.

    • @snolvr100
      @snolvr100 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You absolutely can straight pipe a turbo. It's loud AF but with turbo spool noises for days.

    • @SeamusMcFitz-jz9if
      @SeamusMcFitz-jz9if 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @snolvr100 dude. Love the car...same one.
      But straight pipes means from the cylinder block all the way back is a straight flow of exhaust...in the 911TT the turbos are in the way...

    • @snolvr100
      @snolvr100 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SeamusMcFitz-jz9if I hear ya. But I would still consider them straight pipes even on a turbo b/c no cats, resonators, mufflers
