I think you have to use separate rectifier for each piezo element for better results. as in your circuit piezo connected parallel, it may cancel out of voltage of each other. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Idea: what if you integrate piezoelectric plate to speaker like plate and apply sound to it which makes soundplate and piezoelectric plates to vibrate. If this would work at certain vibrations you could apply that tech maybe in noisy environments like beside the highways where this soundplates would collect harmful noise and collect it into electricity. Imagine if you would collect energy from sound if 1 piezoelectric plate which generate that 0.3 V from one push then imagine if that plate vibrates like thousandfold.
Hey try keeping the pressure on the piezoplate for long and maintain it constant like use a 100 g weight......then check if output voltage is coming constant or not. If yes, then tell me.
Lekhram Chelak No, longer press would not effect the emf generation, since the generation depends upon rate of change of mechanical stress provided on the crystal. i.e, press and release in faster rate to get more generation.

HELLO SIR. I liked the video. Sir can you tell me that what is the requirement and the connections of charging with so many piezo-electric materials like 25-30 piezo-electric plates. Kindly do reply .
which diodes you are using and how do you connect them for to make the rectifier bridge, which capacitor did you used...please explain better.....the image of the diodes is totally out of focus and doesn't help at all...
..very helpful. thankyou so much. sir is there any change in the output when the sensors connected series , parallel or both series and parallel?????? plz give me an ansr it for my project
This is a piezo plate, can be found in market of if you have buzzers or horns you can find inside.... The white part you are seeing is quartz crystal, which actually creates potential difference.
Yes clive, It works for real. And yes Peizo plates connected in parallel. I have participated and secured 1st position in few science fairs for an upgrade version of this idea.
Of course, you can do it. Just twist the ends of diodes with each other multiple times and apply insulation tape over it. Ensure to have a very tight connection. Though this isn't a very good idea but this will help you.
@@jasminecomia5276 Yes of course, that would be a perfect solution for experimenting purpose. If you are building it for science exhibition, its the best idea, since your circuit will be clearly visible to the examiner.
Kindly tell from where you bought all these materials , I can only buy online can u suggest from which site , since I also want to perform such experiments
Its totally d pends upon your need. If you need high voltage and current doesnt matter, connect in parallel. If you need high current and voltage doesnt matter for you, then connect in series. Balance the parallel and series combination as per you voltage and current requirement.
Is there any way to limit the output voltage. Dear Sie what will happen, if I connect 4 or 5 volt dc at point where you connect ta multi-meter? will it work as water misting device ( humidification)? need detail of piezoelectric plate, I mean material, and how to make?
well its basically the same circuit as shown in the video. But, instead of piezoelectric plates u need to use piezo film strips, which is more sensitive to vibrations and thus sound.

Nice video. Well explained. Could you suggest how I can convert the generated voltage to approximately 5v and 0.2 amps to run an LED Bulb ?
Do you get more voltage if you press it harder? And is it exponential or is there a limit?

no

You can measure intensity of the sound waves.

If you add more piezo sensors to the circuit, is it the voltage output increase or the power ouput increase?
When added in series, current in the circuit increases.
When connected in parallel, voltage increases.
But, ultimately power increases. Since (P=V*I)
Thanks sir!
Sir please full video assemble
sir, please tell the values of capacitor and diodes, as when I went to shop they asked for values.

is it actually work??
Yes miss Faria jannat Nilima, it actually works. I have won Best Innovation award, India for this tech.

No, it wont be enough, As the energy generated through one plate is very less.
