    Good day sir, Can you give me detailed information on how to charge an 18000 maH power bank 5V. Like how many piezo are needed and how am I going to connect the wires in the USB charger to charge the power bank. I am planning to create a chair cushion that generates electricity to charge the power bank. I hope you would read this message. It would really help me a lot. Thank you!

      i´m doing a project on that topic in highschool right now. Let me tell you, Piezo-Generators are a fun science experiment, but not at all practical. One of these small Piezo Elements used in the video can give around 10 V of voltage but only about 10 micro Ampere of current. That is not much. In the video he connected them in parallel to get a higher voltage but the current stays the same. You can get a power of 10V * 0,000001A = 0,00001 Watts. For comparison a standard phone charger has 2 Watts

      no, the quality of the sensors he has used can very easily crack

  • @chaorrottai

    You would be better off using them in compression mode. Compression mode offers the most amps for the least movement and can handle the most force. Flexing is more springy, but you are more likely to break the piezo and, while you need, less force, you need alot more movement to get the same power.
    Chances are that's PZT-5A in there, in compression mode, you get the same amount of power as the deflection mode you are using, but you will only need to provide picometers of actuation movement instead of millimeters.

      Hey, and can u please tell me how to use them in compression mode?

    • @akaz8983
      @akaz8983 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ikramder339 because there is nothing beneath the piezo discs, when a force is applied they curve (flex) a little bit. If you remove the bottle caps and place them on a wooden surface, compression would be achieved

    • @chaorrottai
      @chaorrottai ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ikramder339 upon further research, you would have to get one designed for compression mode use, but the point still stands, just need a different unit

    Resonant Frequency: 10+/-0.5KHZ
    Resonant Impedance: 100R MAX
    The Static Capacitance: 8000pf plus or minus 30%
