Wonderful to see this route on video. It is a journey I have made countless times since I was a small boy in 1940! Whilst it is so good to hear the foreign languages of the travellers on the bus, it would be good to have a commentary in English. I do only English, French, Vietnamese, and a little German and Malay. This film is a great piece of work and shows great dedication to the job in hand. Well done indeed and thank you for sharing. You have made an old man very happy.

Well, this was a real trip down memory lane.Lived in London 1972-1990. Last 7 years in Wood Green Took that bus many times.An hour by bus though, think I'd have taken the tube.Now after 27 years in Australia, I'm feeling just a little nostalgic bit don't think I could put up with that traffic.Merry Christmas to everyone in St. Anne's Road:)
We used to walk this route home after pub/clubbing back in the day when the night buses had finished running. I used to continue walking to Winchmore Hill which is a couple more miles up the road. Best days of my life.

You can do something like what Sherlock Holmes does in The Sign of Four and The Greek Interpreter 😁 At 4:36.. There is a road sign for SoHo square. Combined with local business names, it will possibly be a fun process to figure out the streets as the bus moves from here using Google or Bing maps.. not to mention using the bus route and the stop names as well.
this takes me right back to london. haringey was where i lived for a bit when i did my postgrad studies in the UK. let the happy memories come rushing in!

When you catch a bus in london how do you know where it is going..do u ask the driver?
Every bus has a route number for example 29 goes from Trafalqar Square to Wood Green
The destination is signed on the front of the bus.

What an amazing video!! I was living in London back in the 1990s, and it felt as if I was going back in time - it passed three places that I used to work; firstly at the City of Westminster Libraries at the bottom end of Charing Cross Road, then past. what used to be Sight & Sound College, opposite Foyle's Book Shop, and then as it ventures up Camden High Street, there was a bus stop a couple of seconds away from the entrance of the Oxfam shop. As Daryngo says, it is a shame about the video quality, other than that, as I said, great stuff, hope you will do similar :)

It says right on the front of the bus, just like in the rest of the world.
