I think TFL finally relised that they could jsut take 30 from Euston to Hackney central basicly going to both places 253 terminated so they decided to make this route now go to Mornington Cressent instead

The 253’s counterpart route 254 does feel redundant since 95% of the route overlaps with either the 106 or 253. I could see tfl making a consultation of withdrawing the 254 and rerouting the 106 to Aldgate since tfl like to remove buses out of their system. It could become like a situation of the 168/271.

As a local to both routes, both of them are needed, especially during rush hour.. the 253 can’t cope on its own as well as the 254.. the N253 is always rammed especially at weekends

@@londonbuses4763 I agree with you on the N253 and I wouldn’t change that since the 106 isn’t a 24 hour route. I use the routes on weekends and buses most of the time run empty. Also when the 78 passes to London Central it will be the only Arriva route in Ash Grove left.

whats the point of taking route 253 from Euston to hackney central you can just take 30 from Euston to hackney central witch is fast and goes via Kings cross Islington angel highbury and islington highbury corner and then Dalston junction next kingsland high street then finally arriving at hackney central
