- We all need Decorations! But, as we by now know, it is quite hard to get the ones we want. In Monster Hunter World Decoration Farm is quite rng-heavy, yet you can maximize your odds of getting the decorations you want. In this video I am showing you the most efficient ways to farm decorations in Iceborne and World, especially also for Attack, Expert and other very rare decorations.

i've been doing day of ruin the last few days and finally got my first challnger+4 lol, advice for me to whoever see this comment is just do the day of ruin quest online and people will come help you.

Its no just attack lvl 4 you need, most weapon needs critical/protection lvl 4 which is rare as attack lvl.4. Critical/protection is really good cause it gives you critical boost and divine blessing. Good luck on the grind
@@thatutilityguy yep, honestly critical/guardian is my main grinding target because i use CB axe build and so far i've only got one critical/guardian and i still need 2 more😮💨
It's much easier to get challenger 4+ from astral melding ticket.
Flora Frostbite is also super handy to do repeatedly if you need to grow a bunch of honey quickly.

for end game, just do day of ruin 300 times, furious rajang is pointless, melding doesn't give jewels like expert+ or attack+.

After reaching MR 100+ all you want to do is farm Teostra for decorations, got mostly all important decos and my 3rd +4 attack when i reached MR 560+ with 270+ Teostra kills, back when event rotation is sill a thing lol, the grind . . .
Thats A LOT of Teostra Kills, I thought I had many 😂
The Rajang quest is only useful for 11 rarity jewel you can't loot Attack || or Affinity Jewel on it on his ticket

Nearly 800 hours in this game and I still don't have an Attack 4 decoration. I've been farming Kushala and got about 4/5 Challenger 4s and 2 Expert 4s, so technically I don't even need it anymore, I just wanna feel the satisfaction of finally getting it😆 I'll be bullying Teostra next it seems.

Same! 600hrs in, and I only have 2 expert+4. At this point, i just run with 3 attack/satiated & 3 attack/jump for hbg.
800 hours and no Attack 4... what are the odds! Im so sorry for that, that is really unfortunate. Surely soon... right?
What is God's name is that armor set and weapon you're using in the first videp vs furious rajang? I main charge blade and will be pissed if I missed this layered weapon. Plz tell me it's a mod

How to use melding tickets for melding decorations like that I ended iceborne expansion and i only have the 'Meld item'

This might be a dumb question but have you done/used the steamworks?
Correct me if im wrong but you are specifically talking about the Steel/Silver/Gold Melding ticket panel, right?

just farm Day of Ruin, just Sos flair and there's always someone going to join, fastest imo
@@thatutilityguy It may sound funny but im playing on ps4 and account im playing on has PSN issues for some reason, so i cant do event quest and play in multiplayer.I could switch to another account but i'd need to start all over again (I played for 350h on that save file).
I did kill around 300 teostra on day of ruin witt no luck on any attack+4 but did get 1 +4 attack from fatalis! My bet is investigation and fatalis have bigger chance than day of the ruin

I got first attack +4 from teostra,,
attack+4 2nd,,chalengger+4 ironwall+4 from lunastra,,i prefer doing lunastra..its ez if u using sticky n fireproof mantle..

You het to a point though after 50 times plus not getting a lvl4+ attack you just can't be bothered

u can kill Tempered Furious Rajang with the Palico glitch in like 25secs, that is most likely the fastest deco farming in the game, its better than the elder dragons cos its way way faster, u just need like 160+ FPS :)
Well, the odds of getting 1 sealed feystone are around 36% while Elder Dragons have 3 guaranteed dropped. So on average you have to do Mew are number one 9 times to get the same amount, assuming Elder Dragons would never drop more than 3. At that point its actually less efficient, unless you don't chase Attack4/Expert 4
@@himynameisfox I dropped 2 Attack and 2 Expert decos in 205 rajang captures, each run is around 1.5mins ill be generous here its more likely 1min i.e the quest, loading screens and restocking, thats like 5hrs, ur not doing 205 teostra, kushala or lunastra in 5hrs, and yes my deco luck was insane but yeah, it requires zero effort in terms of gear and player skill, which is a massive benefit imo.
In 205 rajang captures you should've gotten around 73.8~ (36% per capture) Sealed feystones. The Odds for an Attack 4 and Expert 4 are 0.27%, meaning 1 in 370 Sealed Feystones on averages gives you an attack 4 or an expert 4, meaning on average you need 1481 Sealed Feystones to get 2 attack 4s and 2 expert 4s. You claim to have gotten these in 205 captures which is equal to around 0.005% which is equal to 1 in 20´000. Insane is not really a word to describe this luck. On average to get 2x Attack 4 and 2x Expert 4 from Mew are Number, you will take 5331 quests.
Looking at pure % numbers it is still beneficial to do Elders, even if they take longer. They give you guaranteed 3 Sealed Feystones per completition. Mew are Number one needs to be completed around 8~ times to get 3 Sealed Feystones.
In case you really only take 1 minute per Mew Are Number One, you can still take 8 minutes per Elder Dragon to get the same result.
In case you take 1 minute and 30 seconds per Mew Are Number One, you already get 12 minutes per Elder Dragon to get the same result.
I just felt like calculating this for fun btw.
What I think is funny about all of this is that you mentioned you need 160+FPS, which means you need to play on PC to re-produce the glitch. A glitch as we know, is bug abuse or and unintended game mechanic abuse at which point you can also just save yourself the trouble and mod in the decorations you want.
Abusing a glitch is considered cheating so it would be the same as just modding them in.
So yeah. lol
@@himynameisfox well the thing is, in any game that requires thousands of runs to get anything u need a very braindead method to do it to get anywhere, thats why most people just stunlock Kushala, the fact that u can just capture rajang with zero effort is something no statistical number can replace, and idk where u got ur numbers from but they feel very off, since i have done a lot of Kushalas myself around 400'ish so the rajang cheese didnt feel less rewarding in terms of feystones at all, and yes the farm felt way way way better since its much faster and requires very little input.
I'll say it, you're full of shit. The numbers dont add up. And it's a shit method. Not just because it's cheating, but is very inefficient when compared to just mod cheating.
How did you make your game much clearer?
You could be refering to two different things;
Either 1) its because I have the Texture Pack installed
or 2) it's a setting that turns off all the fog in the game which you can find under the display settings, I currently dont remember which one that is though
I think they really need to adopt MHRS way to go. We can trade to whatever decorations that we want just using materials.

You are only able to get expert 4 from Sealed Feystones (the yellow feystones) so they drop from anything that gives you those!
Another very efficient way is save wizard
dont disagree but many people dont want to use that way or cant since they are not on PC!
Unfortunately the attack 4 deco seems to drop from the lunastra one more than the others...
Thats should not be possible since it's all just sealed feystones!
You don’t get all low rank decorations from steamwork
That is correct, you don't get them all. But by just playing the game you should be able to get most Low Rank decos. Personally like I mentioned in the video, I have never specifically farmed Low Rank decos and still got them all by now.

We're dining in hell tonight
As someone that went almost 500 hours without a single Attack +4 and that needed almost 2 weeks of daily Kushala runs for a drop (3-5 runs a day) my tip would be to play until you start to notice you burn out on the fun... Then help yourself with the Shop everything mod and just buy what you need with Zenny!
I'm all for vanilla play and I enjoy the grind. Complete everything at least once without mods or gamechanging things. I did everything without mods, including Fatalis. But at some point the RNG becomes detrimental imo. Downloading mods so I could finally get all that I needed to complete builds and craft any set that I needed/wanted to try for other weapons was such a relief. Literally brought the fun and enjoyment back for another few months of playing!
If modding in decos makes you enjoy the game more, go for it. Whatever makes someone enjoy the game more :)
If you're on PC, save your time and sanity, mod your shop to sell what you want. Fighting the fights you enjoy and responding SOS is much more fun than this grind. There's no rush to the top in this 5year old game, when everyone is already at the top.
Not necessarily disagreeing with this. I personally did not do it but I can see why not chasing after decos can make the game more enjoyable tbh
