Even with HIGGS and VRIK Skyrim combat always felt so lack luster and left more to be desired, especially when you've already played a game like blade symphony that does melee so flawlessly. Because of that I've never put more than two hours into Skyrim VR. Hopefully this will change that for me.
This mod could be enhanced by having NPCs react to your collision or grabs differently depending on their attitude towards you, and by 'strong' NPCs being able to break grapples and grabs.
There's already an "adult" mod that does something similar to that. That's my one gripe with the skyrim modding community. Most mods are based around goofy coomer fantasy jigglebone npc's, instead of making what's already there more interactable
Wait until some guy makes a blade and sorcery sword combat mod where the blades interact and clash and have different sound effects ontop of reacting to your hits And overhauls Skyrim’s combat ai to an advanced blade and sorcery type AI And some guy makes a mod with realistic medieval damage and a need for armor and different types of healing
Sometimes I think bethesda holds out on es6 because they keep waiting for modders to do their work for them and make skyrim into something revolutionary.
to think that Higgs made all this possible. it basically revolutionized the skyrim vr version. we have reached the peak of it, im sure. i cant think of anything else that would make the world more immersive. we have full body interaction, pulling weapons and spells without fidgeting in menus, and now we have weapon collision too and body interactions too. there is a lot of very pricey vr games out there that dont have most or even any of these in it. and this is made by modders basically for free mind you. ps: youtube finally recognized you as big enough, for the "Fax" and "its finally here" bots to show up on every comment. i feel honored to spend time on your channel piggy sir.
Can you even begin to imagine, if some dedicated modders can do this, what a well funded dev team with a custom engine could accomplish? (Sadly, i have zero hope for Bethesda ever getting their shit together) 'cough' Valve 'cough'

VRIK (You get real arms, body, legs etc), HIGGS(Physics overhaul, let's you pick things up with your hands and a ton more, required for Planck), and PLANCK(Physics on people, you can shake people's hands etc as shown in the video). I recommend downloading Wabbajack and installing the FUS modpack. It has all these mods already installed. And it is very performance friendly

For anyone who may be having trouble or just can't find all of the mods Habie uses, I have a video up on my channel that shows you not only how to install (most) of the mods, but I also include links to all of them (even the ones I didn't include in the video) in the description. I made it to help another commenter out, so figured I'd share it more broadly here. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/A8Q3J0kKRn0/w-d-xo.html
It's honestly not the best, but I think it should help with the more difficult things and definitely helpful with all of the links!
god send

Happy 12am, once again Habie. I totally blame you for my ever worsening sleep schedule and not my terrible time management
weird an 8-10 minute video on average every couple days is completely destroying your sleep schedule
1:30 imagine your living your daily life, just walking around and then a guy with immeasurable strength, a person who can rip apart dragons and steal their souls, and he just grabs your face and admires it while moving your head around. Praying that he doesnt sneeze and snap your neck like a twig.
just bought a VR set and I intend to get addicted to Skyrim - now ima go back through your vids and make a list of all the mods🤩
Even with HIGGS and VRIK Skyrim combat always felt so lack luster and left more to be desired, especially when you've already played a game like blade symphony that does melee so flawlessly. Because of that I've never put more than two hours into Skyrim VR. Hopefully this will change that for me.
The next level of this would be if you were in a room that actively changes to mimic the environment of the game
Basically said “y’all know Skyrim? You ever wanted to grab Nazeem by the throat and throw him into a dragons mouth? Now you can!”
yall ever wanted to [REDACTED] Nazeem?
Me and Lydia definitely gonna be colliding one way or another
Honestly this looks insanely fun. Next step to improve the mod is to adjust the NPCs facial expressions when being touched.

@@thesteakdrake8018 😐
This mod could be enhanced by having NPCs react to your collision or grabs differently depending on their attitude towards you, and by 'strong' NPCs being able to break grapples and grabs.
Sounds like a pain to implement.
There's already an "adult" mod that does something similar to that. That's my one gripe with the skyrim modding community. Most mods are based around goofy coomer fantasy jigglebone npc's, instead of making what's already there more interactable
@@theanonymspysandwich what’s the mod called?

Wait until some guy makes a blade and sorcery sword combat mod where the blades interact and clash and have different sound effects ontop of reacting to your hits
And overhauls Skyrim’s combat ai to an advanced blade and sorcery type AI
And some guy makes a mod with realistic medieval damage and a need for armor and different types of healing
Sometimes I think bethesda holds out on es6 because they keep waiting for modders to do their work for them and make skyrim into something revolutionary.
@@zwein1817 maybe, but I feel like you might be giving Bethesda too much credit
to think that Higgs made all this possible. it basically revolutionized the skyrim vr version.
we have reached the peak of it, im sure. i cant think of anything else that would make the world more immersive. we have full body interaction, pulling weapons and spells without fidgeting in menus, and now we have weapon collision too and body interactions too.
there is a lot of very pricey vr games out there that dont have most or even any of these in it. and this is made by modders basically for free mind you.
ps: youtube finally recognized you as big enough, for the "Fax" and "its finally here" bots to show up on every comment. i feel honored to spend time on your channel piggy sir.
Eh, there's a few other things that can be done. Full hand tracking via VR gloves and VR treadmill support are 2 of them.
The combat collision aspect of planck mod is the most amazing thing i’ve seen from a skyrim mod
Omg picking up a horse while you’re riding it is the jankiest thing
Can you even begin to imagine, if some dedicated modders can do this, what a well funded dev team with a custom engine could accomplish? (Sadly, i have zero hope for Bethesda ever getting their shit together) 'cough' Valve 'cough'
Could you someday post the mods for your "finish Bethesda's game for them puzzle?" Would mean a lot for people like me without time to mod/troubleshoot the game but want a great Skyrim VR
Well the important ones are VRIK, HIGGS and now PLANCK. Optionally you can also get MageVR and Dragonborn Speaks Naturally.
I love when modders think they're "finishing the game design" when really they're just offering different alternative playstyles. Wake up.
@@rpgfreak9999 Except SKYRIM VR is LITERALLY NOT A VIRTUAL REALITY GAME! Gee it looks like Bethesda just sold me Skyrim for the 1 billionth time, bugs and all with ZERO attempts to make it VIRTUAL REALITY. Where’s the simulated reality in SKYRIM VR FUCKWAD cuz their ain’t any here.
gotta love it when habie uploads
I am in shock and AWE right now, seriously
0:41 It's like a dream come true. We can pat Serena's head.
I tried Skyrim VR vanilla a couple years back and almost liked it but the non-VR nature of it killed it for me. You just got me to reinstall it and find A LOT of mods to use! Thanks
For those of you who don't know, Skyrim's base game is still getting huge new mods, this has literally been happening for 11 years, and has no sign of slowing down.
literally, the ONLY thing Skyrim VR needed to be the best game of the entire past and future century, was Blade and Sorcery Physics.
it has now achieved this. Please, I need the list of these mods to make this game Blade and Sorcery, but Skyrim.
just bought skyrim vr cant wait to play with this mod
"I am not a criminal!"
[gestures with dead body]
Beautiful.
I really hope Bethesda includes a powerful VR side of their next elder scrolls. That would be my next favorite thing if they actually develop that area of the game.
They will for a microtransaction. Horses will be a microtransaction. Swords? Microtransaction. Mods? All on the Bethesda store... for sale. NPCs? Available for a small fee. Quests? Buy the quest pack DLC. Towns? Coming soon. Story? Coming soon. Fun? Available in TES:7 scheduled for 2038.
Habie is my favorite VR youtuber due to his unrelenting humility and content that never fails to slap harder than my ex girlfriend.
It would be cool to see people still making mods for Skyrim VR in like 2031, 20 years after the original release
Genuinely...can we make it that far? With no new CC and the lowest login rate to the Creation Kit ever, new mods are dying. I'd love to be 40 in 2031 and still see new mods.
6:58 So glad I wasn’t the only one who picked up a horse while riding it
That’s actually really cool for immersion. Just being able to raise a drink to your mouth without it floating far in front of you is so cool
Whenever I'm taking a Dookie, I enjoy watching habie insult the atomic smooth brains while simultaneously honoring the pact that he started so many moons ago
Huh, looks like modders have actually made VR worth buying, yet another feat for the legends that even surpass the infinite wisdom of God Toward!!!

I've been watching your vids for nearly a year now, and I find you entertaining and engaging, but why oh why have I now watched this same one at least 3 times, and still not been bored. It seems to pop up every few months for me. Hope you have a great day, thanks for the "content".

0:40 yep, i know what you're thinking boys, check out the hub "Fucking Around" Skyrim VR with the PLANCK mod", it's the funniest shit i ever seen in a while
So I’m curious, has anyone done this with fallout 4 vr as well. I’d love to see these kind of mods made for fallout vr because while skyrims cool, last I checked, you still can’t shove a sawed off shotgun down someone’s throat in Skyrim.
Not yet you can’t
@@mythman2005 i highly doubt that there isnt a gun mod in skyrim
I lost it at “a man approaches with his weapon drawn” fully holding his neck with a dagger in his face 😂😂
I am so glad that you added the subject to the thumbpic instead of it being more arbitrary
i always wanted to do this like grab them and easily stab and defeat them with like blade and sorcery physics
Jiggle physics...
...nobody going to mention 2:08?
Hey habie, love your stuff! Would you be willing to post your mod list? I would pledge my allegiance to you eternally
This is super cool and I would absolutely play with it....if I was willing to again spend another several weeks building a mod list.
You know, i thought skyrim vr was pretty amazing by itself, but this video has just made me aware of a whole new world
5:13
Uncensored part,, asking for a friend
I have a lower end pc that can still run vr pretty well, but will probably crash if I add any graphics mods. What would you say are the essential physics and combat mods are?
VRIK (You get real arms, body, legs etc), HIGGS(Physics overhaul, let's you pick things up with your hands and a ton more, required for Planck), and PLANCK(Physics on people, you can shake people's hands etc as shown in the video). I recommend downloading Wabbajack and installing the FUS modpack. It has all these mods already installed. And it is very performance friendly
@@Dino-vf4ix thanks dude
I know you were trying to come up with a non-creepy example, but grabbing someone's hand when it's hanging straight down by their side so you can shake it is incredibly creepy.
Looking at gameplay for this is the only thing that has ever made me want a VR headset
I absolutely lost my mind when he picked the house up while riding it 💀💀💀
Hai 3% chance here and what an awesome video. I don't play vr because it makes me nauseous but I do play a lot of modded Skyrim and wow the Skyrim modding community is astounding with the amazing content they provide us. Great video and yes I'd like to see another one of yours again *subbed*
You may need a better vr system dude.. When using a powerful system there's literally no chance of getting sick... Is only when frames are dropping...
Now I can slow dance with Serana
There's nothing better than affectionately patting your conjured summons on the head after they slaughter an entire dungeon
This is the first time i've seen mods that actually makes the game look better.
Skyrim modders are just on another level. For real, this game has become so freaking good just because of the mods. I really hope that one way we will have full Blade and Sorcery combat, that would be awesome. I don't think weapons and stuff collide for now.
now we just need a dismemberment mod and this has officially become a triple A made-for-vr masterpiece.
this has been the biggest reason to maybe buy a vr headset if have seen yet.
Very convincing indeed
this is the first video of yours i've watched, and i've gotta say, i loved it, and imma go ahead and watch more!
The fact that you interrupted Lydia hammering to make her whack herself in the head. That’s the FIRST thing I thought the instant that clip played. I’m glad to see you’re a cultured gentleman like myself.
