Aside with my studies, I work at The Royal Danish Collections, and I meet the royals a lot -especially Joacim & Marie. And man, Marie is such a nice personality! So natural, kind and she is always the first to ask how my days is going and stuff. And dare I say, she is even more beautiful in real life ;)
She does not speak German. Her Danish is still on primary school level, after 12 years in Dk. And we have never heard her speak Spanish, so can't really tell how well she speaks it.
@@ricarda68 Well I think she has done a wonderful job as has Crown Princess Mary. I certainly would not be able to give up my country, my lifestyle and my language for any man, even royalty. They have my utmost admiration. 💞
Lovely posting. First time I have heard her speak. First time I have heard him speak extensively in English. They both speak English so well. I imagine, at a minimum they must speak three languages (Danish, English, French). The language skills in Europe put North America to shame.

I travel around the world and the people I meet are much more important than the way they speak. I am Canadian, maybe it’s my culture rather than my silliness 🤔😉

its not easy for any woman, and for Marie to be with a divorced man with kids. even though i dont really fancy her, but i do feel she has a difficult task and is a woman with a big heart to embrace his children.the marriage between him n alexandra was fresh and new for both of them and you can see it was easier and more significant being the first for both. Not easy
I like them very much, especially Princess Marie. She´ s so kind and natural. So much more then Princess Mary, I don´ t like her. She seems to be very superficial, conceited and like a luxury doll. Princess Marie is so much nicer and friendlyer than her. But I like both Princes, Joachim and Frederik.
Marie seems nice sweet but if there's a crisis in Denmark I hope she doesn't say "let them eat cake" like Marie Antionette did.and help kick of a revolution.
Well thruout all Europe the royals language at courts have been French, I think :) beside the english have german family as their loyal, Japan might soon have to have korean-roots emperor, so wtf...if it's good person that's all that counts rather than having someone mimicking the language without further understanding to it etc.

Marie's English is good too. She speaks French, English, Danish and German. Amazing👌So very good to be multi-lingual 😍

Mary of Denmark is very qualified in speaking. Her speeches are amazing. She is more exposed to the Danish public. Denmark has become her country.
