- Learn about four types of curves that use to look at various pump parameters. And also about the pump family curve used in pump selection.
1. Head Vs. Flow Curve (H-Q Curve). 2. Efficiency Curve. 3. Power / Energy Curve. 4. NPSHR curve and 5. Pump Family Curve

Sir I want to calculate the head range of pump so how can I calculate the head range of both submersible and centrifugal pump
As I have graph of Head vs discharge and input Power vs discharge....
Why efficiency decrease after reaching maximum efficiency
Nice one.
Please make a video on reciprocating pump curves brother
Thank you sir 🎉
Thank you for your dedicated video! May I confirm my understanding: the power perfomance curve and the power in pump family curve are about the mechanical power (shaft pump power)?
Yes, correct
@@HardHatEngineer Thank you Sir! I have another question: In some hydraulic calculation documents, I found 2 different values of efficiency: estimated and corrected. How can we get those values?
I guess the corrected efficiency is got after we have already chosen the pump, and calculated by hydraulic power/mechanical power. Am I correct? How about the estimated one?
Brilliant just please could you explain how the head is against the flow rate however when we need to increase the flow rate we will add a more stages
More stage will not add extra flow. It will increase the head.
tq sir
Why does head vs flow curve contradict with the equation Q=Cd×A×sqrt(2g)h^3/2?
Where can I get these charts that will correspond to my pump's brand and specification?
You have to contact pump manufacturer.
Can you please provide me the link to take the course advertised for Real PLant Examples ??
Hi, here is the link - courses.hardhatengineer.com/courses/rotating-equipment-bundle-4-in-1
please help me with formulas to find efficiency
How to accomdate viscosity impact on pump curve in design, while pump's curve from vendor is for water?
Vendor will give you chart for correlation.
SIR CAN U GIVE A CLASSES FOR MRPL EXAM
Not available with me
Thank u so much sir can i contact u through gmail
How long can I take time for shut off test?
not more than 3 minutes.

Sir, you said u sould maintain more than 9 ft of head to avoid cavitation!!
Don't think you so sir, it should be below 9 ft and not more than this to avoid cavitation ?
