    Thanks for this. So, so helpful.
    Just to remove a bit of fuzziness in the whole picture.
    1. The system curve represents the relationship between the head H changes due from Friction losses as flow increases or decreases? While,
    2. Pump Curve is the relationship between the Pump Discharge Head and discharge flow rate?

    • @Coreengineers
      @Coreengineers  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Dear Nedum!
      1. The system curve will show the static head of the system (the head required to overcome gravity at zero flow) and the dynamic head, which is the frictional losses at varying flow rates.
      So as it's the function of flow as well as it'll increase or decrease frictional loss will be also increase or decrease.
      2. Yes, that's correct. The pump curve illustrates the relationship between the pump discharge head (total head or pressure) and the discharge flow rate (volume flow rate) that the pump can generate. It essentially shows how the pump's performance changes across various flow rates, helping engineers select the right pump for a specific application.
      Hope you find the answer of your question!

    Thanks for the explanation.
    So a system curve is associated with the system (Piping System) where we are going to use the pump.
    And the pump curve is associated with the pump which will be unique for each pump.
    Is that correct?
