    These transistors have a maximum frequency of about 200MHz. They both are in common emitter configuration and so trying to pass 3g and 4g signals, that are anywhere from 0,7 to 2,6GHz is quite silly. It's basically a jammer that produces higher harmonics by switching the output LC circuit of C6 L2 with 20MHz on/off pulses. The switching signal for T2 is coming through the filter after the amplifier T1 has picked up random noise with the resonance frequency of tank circuit L1 C8. Note that T2 doesn't have a base resistor, so it's relying on strong signal coming through C7 in order to make it initially conduct in order to cause oscillations. Also 3G and 4G use both signal polarisations, this can't possibly amplify both horizontal and vertical polarised signal at the same time.

      @Feathered Skeptic which transistors are you talking about ? They have it down as bf495 and bf195 for the same transistor...

    • @featheredskeptic1301
      @featheredskeptic1301 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ronallens6204 Doesn't matter, they are both low to medium frequency transistors. If this is an amplifier for 2G to 4G signals it should be fairly broad band, and working on much higher frequency. I'd expect them to use something like BF93, 2SC3358 or some other type of microwave transistor. Usually the maximum transistor frequency has to be much higher than the maximum frequency of the broadband amplifier, especially if we're talking about a common emitter circuit. So they will need microwave transistors for this to work.

    • @featheredskeptic1301
      @featheredskeptic1301 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ronallens6204 No. The UHF band is between 300MHz and 3GHz. The transistors in the video have a maximum frequency of 250MHz. Even if you build it as a resonance amplifier on the specific channel you want to receive, it still isn't going to work. The transistor has a gain of 1 for it's maximum common collector frequency (Ft). For everything higher than this the gain goes lower than 1. Even for a 300MHz signal you will need a transistor with a maximum frequency of at least twice that, and even then it's going to be a terrible amplifier.
      That's not to say that this isn't an amplifier to begin with. It's more like a jammer.

      Hello, I understand the point in difficulty that you mean by this, it is indeed the case that the frequencies differ a lot per country, the frequencies run from the 450.4 Mhz to the 1990 Mhz, these are divided into 4 continents, it is indeed very difficult to calibrate here this that you keep producing some kind of echoes that make it almost impossible, shielding the coils is a requirement as well as good expensive large trimmers, and to do it right is my scheme a lot more extensive than can be found here on the internet.
      I have been working in the amateur radio for over 35 years and I certainly have the necessary experience, so it is advisable to start with a quad-band, using 4 transistors as well as 4 coils, 4 trimmers and therefore 4 antennas.
      Mvg Antony

      @@antonycasanova4067 no. Even if this device was capable of receiving the signal from the phone and re-transmitting it at a higher power, it would be doing so indiscriminately because it cannot interpret the signal. It would as a result amplify its own signal, causing interference with itself in a positive feedback loop until it was only re-transmitting the same signal, producing one signal at it's resonant frequency. A device cannot simply capture rf at a frequency and instantly retransmit it at the same frequency in the same location without this issue. The only way forwarding works is either at different times by storing and forwarding at different times, or by re-transmitting on a different band which requires demodulation and remodulation on a different carrier.
      This device cannot do that.
      This is just one of many reasons a circuit this simple to amplify a phone signal does not exist and this video is steaming bullshit to get views for God knows what reason.
      You work in amateur radio? You ever turn on two radios on the same band and key the mic on one? What happens. Feedback. That beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
      That happens in rf too. So on principle alone this device cannot without actual rf electronics.

    I wonder if these types of designs with protruding antennas (antennae) wouldn't end up working as signal jammers, simply because of the loop or feedback effect from output to input via air or open space,so my recommendation here would be to use units like this as it is done in the case of repeaters whereby a receiver antenna element that should normally be raised high above or around roof tops be connected to the input of the circuit in question through an appropriate coaxial cable

    How is this schematic work if the transistor used (BF195 or BF495) have transition frequency of about 250MHz and the 3G/4G frequency bands starts from 700MHz up to 2600MHZ? Even 2G networks starts from 380MHz. All this means is that the gain of these two transistors at frequencies above 250MHz will be lower than 1 :)

    What it looks like he's done is taken an IN signal (the network) through an antenna spaced like 3 inches apart from the antenna used for the OUT signal (the cellphone) and simply used a signal amplifyer circuit inbetween so: [IN-antenna]--->[signal amplification circuit]--->[OUT-antenna]. This means that if the signal is good about 3 inches from your phone this circuit could in fact save you the trouble of moving your hand 3 inches. But since that will never be the case it does nothing. But more interestingly however, if there is in fact a signal it would in fact act as a weak signal jamming device since it sends what it recieves wich, between the 2 antennas 3 inches apart will create a loop. The network will say something and when the transmitting end of the device repeats the message to the phone it also repeats it to the recieving end of itself (as if the network sent a new message), causing it to keep sending completely irratic signals. It is a phenomenon called "crosstalk"...

      This circuit is great.
      It even works for wifi.
      Signal increases 2 bars and no more disconnects.
      Also on it close to digital tv antenna no more picture breakup.
      I put it next to my auto engine. Mileage to up 10-15 mpg and lots of power.
      I put it on my pillow at night now the bald spot on my head is growing a lot of hair now.
      Also missing 2 tooth in front new one grow back.

      BF241, BF255, BF495, BF595, and BF195 are all npn transistors that work in the 200mhz range so they're interchangeable in this project. Radio can be finikey so I would use 2 of the same if possible..... but BF241, BF255, BF495, BF595 are all listed as excited replacements for BF195 by a data sheet I found. I'm guessing when he drew up the scema he intended to us 195 but either found 495's cheeper or couldn't get 195's....

    Sweet Bro!
    2G(GSM)-Originally designed on 900MHz range, now also available on 800MHz, 1800MHz and 1900 MHz ranges.
    3G(UMTS Band)-IMT2000 (Technology Neutral)
    Common trends for 850MHz, 900MHz, AWS, 2.1GHz
    LTE_4G-IMT2000 (Technology Neutral)
    Common trends for DD, 1800MHz, AWS, 2.1GHz, 2.6GHz
    All Bands share either 900Mhz, or 1800Mhz which is double the frequency of 900Mhz, therefore it can use the same antenna. Is your device tuned to 900/1800Mhz?

    • @luismorales4617
      @luismorales4617 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Guruji RC world :
      TIP : You could use plain copper wire ( without insulation) BUT is mandatory that must be light or little (almost imperceptible) separation between turns . Too much or not separation at all can affect the performance of the circuit ( the impedance / resonance would be wrong) . You could have a frequency drift , out of frequency or not working at all device. Or simply paint the naked wire (with spray paint) let it dry and then make the coils.
