    There are so many things wrong, I don't know where to start. However, there are a couple of obvious problems. With the antennas so close, you will have feedback and the 2nd stage appears to be an oscillator at 20 MHz or some harmonic. What I see there is an interference source and not a "signal booster". BTW, what you called a crystal oscillator is in fact just the crystal. Also, that transistor is only rated to 800 Mhz, so it won't do much for WiFi or the higher cell bands. Fire up a spectrum analyzer to see what that's actually doing.

    Граничная частота транзистора ниже рабочей частоты сотовых телефонов,не говоря уже о том,что транзистор должен иметь запас по частоте в 2-3 раза выше (примерно) для нормальной работы.катушки индуктивности намотанны как на 88-108 fm диапазон метровых волн,в то время как сотовые телефоны работают на сантиметровом диаппазоне ..) эта схема не может быть рабочей )

      правильно человек говорит граничная частота по даташиту 500 мгц 2G работает на 900 мгц и 1800 мгц 3G 900-2100мгц 4G 800-1800-2600 запаса нет у транзистора от слова ваабще и с такими катушками в 4 витка и емкостями максимум на 144 мгц будет работать

    This MIGHT show an increase of the RF signal to your phone, but without a frequency counter, how do you know that it is on the RIGHT radio frequency for G2, G3, G4 and G5.
    As in the UK, they use 9 different radio frequencies. As they use BAND 20, and that is on 800MHz, and on BAND 8, they use 900MHz, on BAND 32 (SDL) is on 1400MHz, on BAND 3, they use 1800MHz, on BAND 1, they use 2100MHz, then on BAND 40, they use 2300MHz, on BAND 7 (FDD) they use 2600MHz, and on BAND 38 (TDD) they use 2600MHz, and on BAND 42, they use 3400MHz.
    So PLEASE tell me on WHAT band that this so called MOBILE SIGNAL BOOSTER ????
    As I say, it might show some form of RF (Radiated Frequency) that will show MORE bars on your phone. But a TRUE signal booster is NOT just a TRANSMITTER, as it needs to be a TRANSCEIVER. That is a transmitter and a receiver built into one unit. Also the distance between the two aerials is a BIG thing. As if it is TRANSMITTING and then RECEIVING the same signal, it will form a FEEDBACK LOOP. You know if you hold a microphone next to a speaker and it makes a very bad noise, that is an AUDIO noise, or just think what sort of interference that it will make in a silent radio frequency ?
    To tell you the TRURH, it is a crock of $h1T.
    As I say, it will show MORE bars on your phone, but in NO WAY 🙅‍♂️ is it going to pick up a mobile signal from a cell tower to boost it to your phone, then simultaneously take the mobile signal from YOUR mobile phone and RETRANSMIT it as a BOOSTED signal back to that mobile cell tower.
    It all looked GOOD and he even uses a crystal that is used in radio transmitter equipment, right down to him making a technical looking circuit diagram to make it look as if he knows what he is doing. I can put a strong 💪 signal to my phone, by using a rough metal file, some wire and a 9 Volt battery. As connect one wire to one of the terminals on the battery, and connect that to the metal file, then connect the other wire to the other terminal to the other side of the battery and run that wire up and down the file, it WILL generate a radio signal, that will cause a load of electrical interference on radios, and on TV’s, and will have some affect on a mobile phone. So for you to generate a radio signal is VERY easy.
    Do NOT be taken in by STUPID people that just like to get subscribers and also to get likes.
    I only wish that TH-cam had a TECHNICAL department, some people that know about electrical generation and radio signal BOOSTING. Then they will NOT have people posting videos like this.

    This circuit is great.
    It even works for wifi.
    Signal increases 2 bars and no more disconnects.
    Also on it close to digital tv antenna no more picture breakup.
    I put it next to my auto engine. Mileage to up 10-15 mpg and lots of power.
    I put it on my pillow at night now the bald spot on my head is growing a lot of hair now.
    Also missing 2 tooth in front new one grow back.
    Wife too small on top put circuit in her purse now like mountains but problem now she poop a lot.
    You should build on black box sell make a lot of money.

    Hi, It seems that this circuit could not be working due to the oscillator frecuency of 20mhz, I know that cell freqs are over 1000mhz or 1Ghz, this also applies to Wifi signals. It shall be reviewed and fully tested.

      it cannot work. It cannot even transmit. The antenna is connected to the base of the transistor which doesn't even make any sense in the first place. Not to mention that the circuit has not even been soldered together on the video and one can clearly see the leads from the LED going out to the side to a batter hidden under the cellphone. Then propagation conditions improve and the signal bar shows full. or the phone was just move to a spot where the signal is full bars and it took some time to update the status. The circuit probably will generate a bunch of week garbage harmonics on 20 mhz and that's about it.

    Señores en vez de estar criticando tanto miren el lado practico del circuito, el trabaja en base a los harmonicos de la frecuencia principal y con relación a las antenas cerca una de la otra los routeres comerciales las tienen mas juntas y trabajan excelente; y si se pueden usar otros cristales de frecuencia. la primera antena toma una parte de la frecuencia de entrada y en la segunda antena con el cristal como referencia se mezclan y a la salida tenemos una frecuencia que esta dentro de la cobertura de la red en el celular dando la ganancia necesaria.

      Yo desconozco de electronica, pero el video no es continuo. Cambia cuando sube la señal, es otra toma y se ve perfectamente. Entonces, no creo que en la practica funcione.

    This is as if it were a result of a false positive test.... You took the transmission frequency nearby, amplified it, and the cel in the search for frequencies understood that there is a stronger signal nearby. But this does not mean that there was an effective expansion in the signal transmission and reception system.

    Не было показано как он спаял схему, по принципиальной схеме ли? Вообще есть ли там припой, кроме как на одном резисторе и светодиоде, про максимульную частоту транзисторов уже написали, антенны близко расположены, по идее одна должна быть например на крыше, другая в помещении.

      @@radiovizit продают. Но приемная и передающая антенны должны иметь разнос. В китайский репитерах это и реализовано. Внешняя антенна на улице, передающая в помещении, причем даже не через стенку, если конечно там не 2 метра железобетона

    Схема не рабочая. 1 - монтаж с паразитными связями на вч. 2 - паразитная обратная связь между антеной передатчика и приемника. В результате нет усиления полезного сигнала.

    Pretty slick. From many data sheets of power diodes (1N4001 for instance); if you reverse the applied voltage at about 0.7 volts, the diode will act as a small amplifier. From the data sheets, linearly applied voltages will cause the capacitance of the reversed diode to vary in a logarithmic fashion. Boggle. I have such an amplifier ahead of the antenna of my TV. A two stage powered by a 9 volt battery and the over all circuit draws about 0.800 milliamps.

    Контура не те, приёмная и передающая антенны слишком близко. Транзисторы ВЧ, а не СВЧ. Ёмкость монтажа дикая. Оно точно должно на СВЧ работать? Да и там где хотя бы 3 палки ловит без труда можно поймать 4.

    Does this circuit work? Are you sure? Well, I'm not sure. Why? At 6:16 led has light but phone signal power indicator doesn't change! After a break you made it works? :) Second, you didn't show whole of the phone. Maybe there is something at the back of it. And third, you test it only by one phone? You would try by an old one plus.

    Total nonsense ! I am an Avionics/Radar engineer latterly working as a sytems engineer on P-P wireless and 2G 3G radio. This could never work, the active components used couldnt handle the frequencies involved and that aside 2G 3G and 4G use completely different frequency bands anyway so one size could not fit all ! Assuming it did work, you would be re-transmitting a cellular frequency which would be illegal as you would not have a spectrum license to do so.

    This will not really improve the signal strength, but might trick the phone into staying in a certain cell, because of the crystal harmonics.
    The transistor doesn‘t work above 400 to maybe 600 MHz.

      On older phones, which may just judge the signal strength by the raw strength, it could show more bars. On 3G and 4G devices, this will not work because the strength is calculated from the actual strength, signal to noise ratio and bandwidth (for LTE 1RB equals 200kHz of bandwidth).

      Use Avometer model 8 to measure all high frequency parameters.
      Better too use the shortest Palladium test leads you can find to reduce parasitic effects.
      Clean the copper with a mixture of acetone and vinegar to ensure best results.
      Oxygen free copper will give your calls the best audio quality however silver plated gold will improve the Q factor
      due to reduced skin effect but reduce the audio fidelity. It is better to make the connections with silver brazing to eliminate
      voltage gradients due to the Setback effect.
      This circuit is great.
      It even works for wifi.
      Signal increases 2 bars and no more disconnects.
      Also on it close to digital tv antenna no more picture breakup.
      I put it next to my auto engine. Mileage to up 10-15 mpg and lots of power.
      I put it on my pillow at night now the bald spot on my head is growing a lot of hair now.
      Also missing 2 tooth in front new one grow back.
      Wife too small on top put circuit in her purse now like mountains but problem now she poop a lot.
      You should build on black box sell make a lot of money.

    1stage supposed to be rf amplifier is a dummy unit...will not work. The aerial circuit is not selective and will not pick except high power local redio stn at medium band.The second stage is an oscillator that may work at higher harmonic frequency of 20MHz ! depending upon the tuned LC tank circuit.Expect that frecquency as output that must be below cut off frequency of the Transistor used. Here there is no issue of ultra high frequency used in mobile phone TRX. I dont know the purpose..a gadget!

    This will not improve any signal. If it does anything at all it will just create interference. Fortunately it has a very low power output so at least it is unlikely to get you into trouble, except possibly with your neighbors to whom it might cause some issues listening radio or watching TV.
    It won't do anything, god or bad, to cellular phone signals as this type of construction cannot reach the frequencies used by mobile phones. Even if it were to be carefully constructed on a multilayer PCB it would still be limited by the 2n3866 transistors which are only good for up to 400MHz or so whereas cellular frequencies start at about 700MHz and go up to 2700 MHz, covering 2G, 3G and 4G.
    Also, having the transmit and receive antennas so close to each other means it will not amplify anything but its own signal turning it into an oscillator rather than an amplifier, just causing interference.
    If one were to put the receive antenna outside, connected through a coaxial cable, and have the board and the receive antenna inside then it is maybe possible that it would help with receiving radio stations better indoors, and possibly VHF television.

    Why was there an edit cut right before the 5th bar came up. Also bars are not the way to check signal strength, they mean nothing really. You need to check your dBm levels in your settings. Keep in mind he's selling kits too. Fishy.

    Die Idee find ich gut. Die Schaltung ist wahrscheinlich schmalbandig und nicht besonders stabil. Der Quarz soll wohl Kurzwellen Signale unterdrücken, das wird mit dem schmalbandigen Serienkreis des Quarzes kaum funktionieren. Ein paar Worte zum Abgleich wären hilfreich: Mit der Handy Signalanzeige auf maximum Level drehen und dabei ein Video beobachten, wegen der Bildqualität.

    Yo desconozco de electronica, pero el video no es continuo. Cambia cuando sube la señal, es otra toma y se ve perfectamente. Entonces, no creo que en la practica funcione.

    Receive signal booster only, no transmitter booster as needed in mobile network both way communication not only receive.

      How does the signal get to the phone, if this "booster" doesn't have a transmitter? Also, with the antennas so close, you'll only have an oscillator, even without the crystal.

    Some People just make video and upload it in youtube just to make money...just by looking at it with the connections of the components..."Its a messed"...i wont go to the details with a simple logic in mind.....where can you find connecting a parallel 1microfarad and a 27 picofarad across a 12 volts supply?...No good fooling other people though.
