5:06 as someone who has built that room in minecraft like a dozen times, I thought I could find this; I took it as a challenge. I spent an hour or so searching and... I couldn't find it for sure. Here are my two guesses though. First I tried comparing the terrain seen in the background. It appears to be on the edge of the map, and although you dont show it in this video, there is a tree or two on the mountain seen on the right. Comparing this terrain to botw, the closest match I found was the backside of Ploymus Mountain when looking at it from around Akkala Citadel. The problem with this though, is that I couldn't find the building link is standing in. The building is a reused asset from all around the botw map, mostly around Central Hyrule; its most notable location is probably Scouts Hill outside the Great Plateau. Everything down to the moss patterns and cracks in the walls are the same as in botw. But none of these buildings are close enough to Ploymus Mountain to recreate this shot, unfortunately. Only the terrain matches in this case. My second guess is much weaker. After I couldn't find the terrain, I resorted to visiting every one of the buildings that match the one in this clip. None of them have the right angle on any terrain that looks remotely similar to what we see in this trailer. Most of the buildings are in the Central Hyrule ruins, not near the edge of the map. The best match I found in this case was from the Sage Temple Ruins. One of the buildings is in those ruins, and the arch is perfectly framed to look at the tip of the Gerudo Highlands, aka the Zirco Mesa. Problem is, theres a cloud that covers the tip of the mountain at all times, so I can't say for sure that the terrain matches. But, after inspecting it up close, Im pretty sure it doesnt match as well as Ploymus Mountain. Also, Im pretty sure I visited every one of the matching buildings in botw, and none of them have a barrel. Its 4:30 AM though so I give up

We already see footage of Link underground (the scene of him flinging some explosive towards a luminous stone talus). So obviously Link will have some playable parts underground
7:43 - It looks more like a cave-in to me. Maybe it's simply a clip showing another entrance to Underrule opening up, but this time it's in another region. Many have speculated it's a molduga or enemies on the surface, but I think it looks more like the ground is opening up to create the Breach of Demise!
Ok so here is all the things that I was able to find but not put in the video: (Also this comment is not hateful I just wanted to share what I saw that didn’t get addressed) 1) When he is showing the Great Plateau and how much stuff is missing, he completely missed the fact that in the background there is GLOWING hieroglyphs! (Best viewable at 6:41) 2) When he showing the teleportation thingy during the scene with the flying bokoblins, in the top left (During 9:53) There seems to be another cyclone type thing (Also viewable at 9:37) it’s hard to see but it is there. 3) It seems that the homing arrows look like it’s made out of some mushroom or rock? (Pause at 11:42) Yea I don’t understand Links mind, BUT, maybe that’s proof towards crafting recipes? And you may be wondering: “Well then how is it homing if it’s just made of normal objects?” And I have an answer to that, it’s because, well, LINK IS CHARGING IT, we see him do it in the trailer right before We see the arrow, so it’s possible. And there is even MORE proof towards them, like in the next scene we see the propellers used in the hovercraft, (At 12:21) so you may need to craft it. And during the car scene, (13:02 and 13:18) we see that each part must be separate because we see a missing wheel, so maybe we can craft the car too!? AND MAYBE WE CAN ALSO CRAFT THE BALLOON!? (13:43) Ok that one is a stretch, I just said that because maybe “The weird goop” is actually some sort of glue. WE ARE FINALLY DONE WITH THAT ONE 4) Ok, jumping back in time a bit to talk about the arrows, the car, the hovercraft, the balloon, and the weird block person thing (It’s more about links items) At 11:04, we see Links supposed Magic meter type thing, I noticed that that the magic is the same color as the energy that comes out when using the homing arrows, We also see a similar color being used in the scenes with the car, the hovercraft, and balloon. So maybe what Nintendo is doing is that they thought that the items would too overpowered or something so they put in a magic meter like in Terraria, but it just takes longer to refill, I mean, it’s definitely a stretch, but maybe!
Funny thing, what really caught my attention was the Redead you mentioned. I've been a little uninterested with Tears until then, so I guess I'm excited to see some classic undead from the Zelda series. While I like the idea of enemies having Stal versions of themselves, I like the idea of new old enemies returning! I hope we get some Poe and Gibdos, they'll really add to the enemy roster.
I think the “thing hanging on the island” at 0:50 is actually one of the Lomei labyrinths because you can see what seems to be a Guardian Skywatcher’s light. Just an idea.
good idea! i think it's a guardian light too, but i don't think it's a labyrinth. at certain points in the trailer you can see that the giant cube islands are directly above where the labyrinths are supposed to be. (i don't remember the times, but one shot is from above death mountain & another shot is near the gerudo desert)
8:20 I’ve not really heard anyone mention this, but I wonder if the combat will be being updated accordingly to make it possible to fight more enemies at once… because that looks like a VERY overwhelming amount of enemies to take on at once. Perhaps Link will have more movement options? Or the weapons will simply be more powerful… that may be more likely. I’m still in awe of the number of details you managed to find and how you managed to get this out so quick! Really enjoyed!
judging by the scene where link just throws a bomb or something with his new arm I'd say the weapons are more powerful and there will be a bigger variety of them. Remember Link will also be able to use a flamethrower so those kind of weapons will come in handy when it comes to defeating a big amount of enemies.
I have reson to believe that when the blood moon rises it doesn't skip and resurrect fallen foes, it appears to also empower enemy's and resurrect them, which implies that the "event" known as a blood moon could last an entire evening. Rhis is Most likely due to Ganondorfs waxing power.
I don't think I've heard anyone mention this yet. The Rock that the monsters are mining looks sorta like a talus, and the wooden structures on it may be the ones we saw from the first trailer. That said it does have too many ores on it to be a talus as we know them.
the floating cube things seems to be the zonai labyrinths found in botw, not only are they standing above their original locations, but since they also are zonai structure, this seems to make sense
For the 5:00 shot, I used my expertise to use the horizon, the position of the blood moon, its path and angle in the sky, the floral present and architecture style and I have come to you with an answer: I have no clue.
I think there may be a time jump. My evidence: Has anyone noticed that we have two different version of Link’s clothing and hair? Has anyone noticed that in the clips, link’s blue tunic is still intact, but in the final scene his blue tunic is torn up.
This might be just speculation, but link's sword honestly didn't look rusty to me, We see links hand put energy into that homing arrow and the sword kinda looks like it could channel energy in the blade itself, just an Idea
11:00 those are probably containers for the “tears” that we might have to collect 12:50 the figure is the same one who gives link his arm powers and in the stone mural.
05:00 number 25 The horizon is just sea and sky so that mean we can see the edge of the map and I'm pretty sure that the mountain on the right is Ploymus Mountain. The one with the Lynel above Ruta with the "Jump at your own risk" sign. Link is looking like he is on Akkala Citadel. I went there and although the background is almost identical, the foreground is nowhere to be found. Since it's a core location it could be redesigned a bit. I actually found where the locations from every shot of the trailer are, give or take. Except of course from the underground and the islands. Now I'm trying to go there with the moon jump glitch to compare them side by side.
In the shot with guardian arms surrounding Link, the platform he stands on bears a string resemblance to both the large teleportation platforms on all Divine Beasts and the two elevators in the humps of Vah Naboris. Coupled with the two indented bars on either side of the platform, I am fairly certain that this shot takes place on Naboris itself.
10:29 Notice that the amount of blocks the golem has is 27 The cube route of 27 is 3 So this may be a 3x3x3 cube of cubes that can form into this golem creature
7:02 The Bokoblin that is mining earlier might actually have one of the horns from the first teaser video, so it's possible both will be present. It could be that after the malice storm they "upgrade" to become weapon parts (which will likely become collectibles for weapon crafting / repairs), or that there are just different iterations - some with horns, some with weapons.
Very cool breakdown and well spotted details. I really enjoyed how this video has been put together and narrated. Very entertaining and now with even more anticipation to add this game to my Zelda game collection. Pre-ordered and a little more patience before we can all dive in, enjoy and indulge into Links next and perhaps biggest adventure yet.
I know this video is 5 months old but I recently started watching you a week ago and at 5:00 I was curious if I could find this spot myself and I did, it was taken at Akkala Citadel Ruins looking to the Southeast East but in BOTW the structure that Link is standing in is not there but instead a pile of rubble but in TOTK there is a structure instead of the rubble there is also 2 barrels to the right of Link unlike the one barrel in the trailer
13:52 I also noticed here that the same goop seen on the hot air balloon and car is also on the flying machine. And since we saw the same (detachable?) wheels, this may indicate that you can build and construct things.
11:42 another fact is the arrow ISNT A ARROW it’s some kind of rock Another fact is that the rock turns in midair. I don’t know if that’s a good way to describe it but yea
10:47 I think those are two different swords. Note the rugged edges on this one compared to the sleek, sharp design of the second sword. Both of a similar design but maybe the first one is a rusted variant?
I actually think that the green swirls represent that you can teleport there. BUT only after you beat the dungeon within them. “What do you mean?” You may ask. Well, if you know the BOTW map SUPER well, then you can see that the green swirls are in the exact same places as shrines. The most noticeable one being the one in Hateno village.

1) When he is showing the Great Plateau and how much stuff is missing, he completely missed the fact that in the background there is GLOWING hieroglyphs! (Best viewable at 6:41)
2) When he showing the teleportation thingy during the scene with the flying bokoblins, in the top left (During 9:53) There seems to be another cyclone type thing (Also viewable at 9:37) it’s hard to see but it is there.
WE ARE FINALLY DONE WITH THAT ONE
4) Ok, jumping back in time a bit to talk about the arrows, the car, the hovercraft, the balloon, and the weird block person thing (It’s more about links items) At 11:04, we see Links supposed Magic meter type thing, I noticed that that the magic is the same color as the energy that comes out when using the homing arrows, We also see a similar color being used in the scenes with the car, the hovercraft, and balloon. So maybe what Nintendo is doing is that they thought that the items would too overpowered or something so they put in a magic meter like in Terraria, but it just takes longer to refill, I mean, it’s definitely a stretch, but maybe!
Great point about the arrow! I hadn't thought of that, but a crafting system would make sense given what we've seen this far.
@@TheBreadPirateThanks for the feedback! Didn’t know if this was kinda wild, but I still think there may be a possibility!
Man the gameplay trailer helped explain alot of stuff
I think the “thing hanging on the island” at 0:50 is actually one of the Lomei labyrinths because you can see what seems to be a Guardian Skywatcher’s light.
Just an idea.
good idea! i think it's a guardian light too, but i don't think it's a labyrinth. at certain points in the trailer you can see that the giant cube islands are directly above where the labyrinths are supposed to be. (i don't remember the times, but one shot is from above death mountain & another shot is near the gerudo desert)
The rotation of a whole island and the presence of that car/hovercraft thing points to the possibility of building your own structures in the game.
5:09 The ruins just by Akala Tower??
I have reson to believe that when the blood moon rises it doesn't skip and resurrect fallen foes, it appears to also empower enemy's and resurrect them, which implies that the "event" known as a blood moon could last an entire evening. Rhis is Most likely due to Ganondorfs waxing power.
Which is exactly what I've been wanting! I always felt that the blood moon was too short an event! I wanna see the world be red for a bit longer!
0:42 that squared structure seems more as one of the three labyrinths
I don't think I've heard anyone mention this yet. The Rock that the monsters are mining looks sorta like a talus, and the wooden structures on it may be the ones we saw from the first trailer. That said it does have too many ores on it to be a talus as we know them.
7:44 this horse looks very a like to epona so maybe there is an epona come back
could the containers on his hip be related to the arrow sucking up that energy? the material seems similar...
also the power source on the car thingy
the floating cube things seems to be the zonai labyrinths found in botw, not only are they standing above their original locations, but since they also are zonai structure, this seems to make sense
i am honestly hyped up, there is so much to see and make theories about and i love it, the bad thing is that it costs 70 dollars
If I get as much game play from it as I do from BotW, it's worth every penny.
@W 70!?!? WHY
@@tphillips37 true tho
It’s always so nice to see your favourite TH-camrs grow. Great content!
For the 5:00 shot, I used my expertise to use the horizon, the position of the blood moon, its path and angle in the sky, the floral present and architecture style and I have come to you with an answer: I have no clue.
brilliant work
I swear if those giant glyphic patterns on the fields are korok puzzles…
I think there may be a time jump. My evidence: Has anyone noticed that we have two different version of Link’s clothing and hair? Has anyone noticed that in the clips, link’s blue tunic is still intact, but in the final scene his blue tunic is torn up.
Agree, and it's possible the scenes that have tiny sparkles in The air light the Lost Woods might indicate you're in time travel.
It could be a hair growth system.
Also, forgot to mention that he doesn’t have the arm at that point either but we see the intact tunic with the arm so it was probably just repaired.
Shot 25 I believe is taken from the bit were the king stands when you get the paraglider in Breath of the wild
I think the room with the guardian arms that days transport is to make your vehicles, so that will be your plan where you build stuff
That’s a great theorie
That thing was on the great plateau with the blood moon in the place with the broken bucket thing
This might be just speculation, but link's sword honestly didn't look rusty to me, We see links hand put energy into that homing arrow and the sword kinda looks like it could channel energy in the blade itself, just an Idea
Ooooo! That's would be so cool!
@@TheBreadPirate your a sussy baka bi@#@
I think the green object on the Hynoxes necklace is a crystal that is used to power the vehicles. 13:19
I was waiting for a new trailer analysis. Two came out. One Zelltik too and monster maze
Oh boy! Two for the price of one.
Pointcrow made a video about this trailer
@@Redmeteor200 wasn’t it a reaction tho
@@waldilks yeah, but I just said he made a video, not a facts video.
@@Redmeteor200 ohhhhhhhh
11:00 those are probably containers for the “tears” that we might have to collect 12:50 the figure is the same one who gives link his arm powers and in the stone mural.
10:38 no flurry rush?
I didn’t even realize that until now
05:00 number 25
The horizon is just sea and sky so that mean we can see the edge of the map and I'm pretty sure that the mountain on the right is Ploymus Mountain.
10:29 Notice that the amount of blocks the golem has is 27
The cube route of 27 is 3
So this may be a 3x3x3 cube of cubes that can form into this golem creature
I’m at the start of the video and the 0:12 transition was so cool!
:D
It was a clean transition, probably one of the cleanest I’ve seen
7:02 The Bokoblin that is mining earlier might actually have one of the horns from the first teaser video, so it's possible both will be present. It could be that after the malice storm they "upgrade" to become weapon parts (which will likely become collectibles for weapon crafting / repairs), or that there are just different iterations - some with horns, some with weapons.
I’m pretty sure the blood moon shot is in the temple of time. Where we first discovered the old man is in fact king Rhoam
I have a feeling it's a destroyed building on a hill near the great plateau, in my opinion it looks more like it
@@jermanjam96 also a great idea. I’ll probably do some spot hunting today just to see where the shot was taken
Why only clmment
Its not
5:09 it’s the temple of time
Very cool breakdown and well spotted details.
After watching this video:
Hype=999999999999999999
I KNOW RIGHT! I got hyped just making this thing.
10:45 also the blocks looks like they have Zonai desing
13:52 I also noticed here that the same goop seen on the hot air balloon and car is also on the flying machine. And since we saw the same (detachable?) wheels, this may indicate that you can build and construct things.
5:09 if I had to guess, I think it’s somewhere in the akala tower in the surrounding ruins.
11:42 another fact is the arrow ISNT A ARROW it’s some kind of rock
Another fact is that the rock turns in midair. I don’t know if that’s a good way to describe it but yea
It is so fascinating to me to see people trying to predict things in a game that i have played.
10:47
I think those are two different swords. Note the rugged edges on this one compared to the sleek, sharp design of the second sword. Both of a similar design but maybe the first one is a rusted variant?
11:16 Bread Pirate, if you look below the cube "island" it is exactly where the square Labyrinth maze was, the red area below it. Could it be it?
BREADDD!! i’m so scared for the redeads. the kargaroks are gonna go crazy, i’m very excited
Fantastic video, loved it!
The shot where links standing under the blood moon almost looks like a tower in the temple of time
5:00 I think it is the temple of time.
Its wild to see the time this video's been up and remember "Oh yeah.... Tears has only been out for a year."
