      I think it’s a hint. He probably wore a Shoei X-15. Either that or maybe he road in the new Alpinestars helmet they made for MotoGP.

    I have the previous PRHA 70, and love it. I'm not a sportbike rider but where I live you need something to get that air flowing. The RPHA was the best I could find.
    This new(er) model...looks amazing, for one. I also like the vents on top as they're different than the RPHA 70 (what I call my bug collector).

    For those in between small and medium on most helmets like me (56.5cm), this helmet in medium is perfect👌 as it runs on the tighter side. It is just a hair bigger than my small agv k1s, and seems to be on the path to being broken in similarly to it

    Update on the shield availability: The dark smoke visor is more readily available now, the RST color visors are still hard to get. However, I was able to find and purchase my blue RST visor for my PE44 graphic from STG!

    I tried it and although I have a 58cm head and wear Medium in every other helmet (racing helmets only) I was aching quite. So I tried Large and it was good. Not so much sporty fit, but the forehead ache of the Medium was unbearable after wearing 10 minutes standing.
    Have you experienced that?
    Do you have to go size up if you are between Medium and Large?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, this helmet fit me well in a size medium. End of the day we are all different shapes and sizes so even though you are also 58 CM the helmet may not fit you the same as it did me. Important to always wear the helmet inside the house long enough to know if you are happy with the fit before you ride in it. - Van

      @@sportbiketrackgear I believe this shape just do not fit my head unfortunately. I once had the same issue with shoei x spirit 2, which was giving me terrible headaches after 15 minutes of riding, so I was forced to sell it. So I think I am going to move to another option. Maybe Shoei X15 or Shark Race R pro GP.

    So Brian, I have a long oval head shape and currently run an arai signet x. Love the helmet fit and finish but is there anything a bit racier for track use for me? Long oval seems so hard to find and I’m just looking for options at this point although it’s tough to beat an Arai

      The only real long oval option on the market today is the Signet-X from Arai. That said it is still possible you can get a good fit from some other models. You really need to go to a shop that has stock of several models you are interested in to try them on. - Van

    I’m starting to look for a new helmet and I’m wondering how this one compares to my rpha 11 in terms of sight. I usually have the push my chin up in the straight to be able to see better. Any suggestions on other helmets to check out?

    this helmet feels top quality at my hands. all the vents works flawlessly with minimal effort, swiss watch quality, better than all. visor closing system is the best. it seems seals well, it sinks in to the shell contour perfectly. I can't say the same for shoei rf1400 or x-15, both use the same visor and system and I saw the same mismatch. the padding foam is so dense, not as comfortable as shoei but it can work better for track. I always feel helmets enlarging a full size after seeing some high speed pressure on them.
    too many good things to say about this helmet. BUT!! the shell is huge! medium was more like an xl size helmet. it was looser fit than the rpha 11, also s & m uses the same shell so it will still be huge bubble for me. x15 is similar story. I think they need more foam on the sides for the 22.06 reg and they become bigger also heavier helmets altogether. except exo r1, rf1400 they comply with 22.06 but still uses same size shells. I found it weird. smaller shells must be better for aerodynamics. I don't know, it may be for the FIM approval, not 22.06.

    • @Venex93
      @Venex93 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can confirm pretty much everything!
      Is it true that the new x-15 does not seal perfect? I mean the visor to the shell.

    • @leventeyuboglu4501
      @leventeyuboglu4501 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Venex93 I have nxr 2 which shares the same visor with x15 and I have doubts. when you look at the helmet form very top, visor at 10 and 2 o'clock is more round than the shell so it will not press to the seal as tight as I wish it to be.

    • @Venex93
      @Venex93 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@leventeyuboglu4501 yea understand, wow would be a disaster.

    • @leventeyuboglu4501
      @leventeyuboglu4501 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Venex93 I don't think so. I have tested it with thin paper, yes it seems touching to seal but not as strongly to my liking. I can't consider nxr2 as silent one as advertised everywhere, despite very good sealing on the neck and good size chin curtain. I may still buy the x15 because fit is the most important thing for me. I kinda gave up on finding the best helmet, they don't do it :)
