All fair points. All true except… the warranty. As a veteran hyundai and Kia dealership employee, our saying is we’re cheaper for a reason. And as for why your treatment in service is, you get what you pay for. And the answer to why you have to wait 3 months for a loaner car is because we have cars 10 years under warranty. And why you have to wait around for a day to get your oil change is because we’re the cheapest. Hyundai and Kia cut costs everywhere… primarily your ownership experience. When you own a Mercedes, you’re not paying for the better performance. You are paying for the treatment and service that you receive.

You can find 2023s, and sometimes, 2024s that are discounted almost $10K with less than 5000miles on the ODO. It's the only way MB can filter though their inventory, by using these cars as their loaner cars, then putting them up for sale as used once they reach 4200K miles. BMW and Audi do the same thing.

I currently drive a 2011 Chevy Cruze, so this segment of cars is very much what I'm currently accustomed to. Yeah, the sticker price is definitely a shocker, but it looks very much like a good everyday commute car if you want some style and prestige at the workplace. That mileage is also slightly better than my Cruze, which was, at the time of it's US launch, the most fuel efficient non-hybrid gas engine sedan, although I think that had some caveats to it as per GM's classic marketing. Was just me or did that car actually sound kinda good inside?

I built it on the MBUSA site and it was 80k in 2018. I paid 30k less. To this date that has been my favorite car I have ever owned. The dealer specifically the service department drove me away from the brand. If I ever went back to MB I would lease and find a dealership that is not run like a circus.

The only crappy thing on the integra is for some of us who cant do manuals (Really bad joints. Itd be way too much in a daily for me) your only other option is a CVT. Unfortunately if you dont want a manual or a CVT there just doesnt feel like that many affordable options out there. Especially if you also want a couple nice things like power seats
That said at 60k, id be going for a Giulia, S3, TLX Type S... like seriously, a lot of nicer options than the CLA in my book

60k lol...and then with it being a year old with 15k miles on it, it will be worth 30k used haha. Idk how Mercedes hasn't gone under yet....and that goes for all the German Luxury brands. Technology has been catching up drastically in more affordable vehicles. The difference in technology and quality for a same sized comparable Japanese, or dare I say it, American sedan is not much. Are sales for Mercedes still doing well? I haven't researched it but I can't imagine that they are where they were 5 to 10 years ago.

This car is way too expensive and, quite literally, you can buy a similarly equipped C300 4Matic for not much more. In fact, you can buy a C300 4Matic for less than this vehicle costs. A true sports sedan with the lovely RWD proportions. The only downsides are maybe fuel economy, and that C-classes are built in the U.S. (if that matters to you). The vehicle you see here is not built in Germany, but built in Hungary. I can't speak for Hungarian craftsmanship but it has a reliability rating better than most compact luxury sedans. It's fairly nice inside but very cramped. A FWD based sedan should not be cramped inside (Mercedes markets this as a coupe) and the discontinued A-class (in the U.S.) offered a roomier interior. If you want the best value in German AWD performance, buy a VW Golf R. Those (along with the GTI) are all German built. Just my two bits here.

@georgejungle138 well, since I was about 18 all I had owned were BMWs, a couple Mercedes-Benzs and Land Rovers. They were all trouble except for my older 80s BMWs amd my 1st Gen ML320. Electrical issues, air suspension issues etc. The GL350 Bluietec I had was terrible. I was always fixing something o it. Air struts, distribution block, glow plug heater oil seals, oil cooler seals, electrical issues. Same with my LR3. Know my 87 325 was a different story. It was absolutely bulletproof. I've had. And still have multiple Land Rover Discovery 2s, which are easy to fix for me and haven't really been all that nad considering their age. Also had an Audi A4 that had lots of issues. Never could get thw turbo take boost before finally selling it. Last new vehicle I bought was a 2016 Sequoia for my wife. We traded the GL350 bluetec in and it was the best decision we ever made. Sure, it definitely isn't as nice as the GL350, but as of today we have 113k miles on it and have only had to do oil changes, tires, amd one set of brake pads. Absolutely zero issues with it. I do miss that GL350 and my LR3 had an amazingly smooth ride but as I've gotten older I look more for reliability as I work over 100hrs a week in the oilfield so I don't have the time or desire to keep fixing vehicles, taking them to the dealer and havung to worry about my wife and kid being stranded. European vehicles will always have a place in my heart, and I still own a few, but for reliable daily transportation for my wife and kids I'll stick with Toyota/Lexus, unless I decide I want to buy a new vehicle every 3 years.
