Nice - I enjoyed that. Lovely landing, especially in that wind. And I think that's the arch of Wembley Stadium appearing from under the wing at about 48 seconds and remaining in sight until 3 minutes 10 seconds.
Many thanks for sharing Tom. I’m very scared of flying 💩🩲🫣 I was following “LIVE” Streams from BHX, LGW & LHR during Storm Bert, lots of TOGA’s and amazing landings‼🛫🛬🛩✈💺💺😱
Nice video and the final looks even in the video bumpy. From my videos I know, that in reality it is much more rough compared to what you can see in the end on the video.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing! Would you be okay with me featuring this landing in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description. Thanks!
What date did you film, what's the seat number, do you remember how much you pay to fly British, does it include seat selection and how's passport control for entering and visiting London?
Set procedures, the technolgy available + above all the superb piloting skills make this not as bad as it seems. Though I'd imagine must be terrifying for nervous flyers or newbie (suppose that's why they're doing that annoying clapping like Americans). Aer Lingus pilots into Dublin do this in their sleep! And the approach into Edinburgh is tasty too.
Actually the area called Londonistan is in the east end - Bethnal Green, Bow, Shadwell, West Ham etc they are not in this clip. I work in Whitechapel and that is a real area of ultra conservative ideology. The 2021 census results has really shown how some areas are incredibly segregated along religious lines. Some of the rhetoric coming out of these areas by religious leaders is terrifying for those of us who are liberal westerners. Anyway, this clip is West London. I watched the planes flying in during the storm and some of them were really rocking side to side. It must have been scary being on one of these flights.
Nice to see the pilot getting some appreciation at the end for such a smooth landing
Wow! Really smooth landing in those conditions! Great video!
I used to hate take off ,now its the long descents i hate.Great work from the pilots When i get round to opening my eyes thr views are worth it
Love that approach over London. Great vid. Wish I was on that flight, superb landing under the conditions
I'm flying to Heathrow next Saturday. Firstly I'm hoping for no storms but if there is then I hope the pilot is this good :)
That landing was smooth af considering the weather.

One of my favourite approaches into LHR. Maybe surpassed by the Gibraltar landing from the West.

Holy fuck you’re such an edgy guy!
@ Don’t know what you mean.
Do yourself a favour and stop embarrassing yourself eh?

I was filming all day I would have seen you I think
Well 🍗 Well 🍉Well 🍇
At least it was a generally clear day.
I would be shitting myself
Wowwww
If you think that’s bad try a flight to Shannon airport in Ireland when there’s windy weather. That’s a white knuckle ride!
Not for me. My heart rose just watching
Did anyone film a go-around from inside the plane?
A 50 kt CROSSWIND......... I don't think so. A 50 kt wind with a 25 kt crosswind COMPONENT.
Considering that 38 knots is the crosswind limit for most A320 operators!! I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought this!
Severe turbulence??
No strong winds
clapping is so lame....it's like the pilot cared as much to land safely....
Or, you were not on the flight like me, and they had a Bad Ass bit of Turbulence for most of their Flight, and were grateful to land ? !
What's with the clapping? It's very unbritish! 🤬
That wasn’t clapping, it was everyone releasing their seat belts. Now that IS very British 😁
@@steve_colwillit was clapping!
They probably weren’t British perhaps
Does everyone clap when the train arrives at its destination 😂😂😂
50 knots crosswinds? Really?
Yes
Severe turbulence really ?? I suggest you fly over Strait of Malacca if you want to experience severe turbulence
