So excited! I have multiple OL/QK/Neo boards and they are all my favorites! Just can't decided if I want purple with clack or this with thock... I'll probably replaced the switches with Nixies anyway so it's more a colorway decision. It's wroth noting that this has the same 18mm front height as the Neo80 which to me is one of the best typing keyboards ever! Most thorough review I have seen so far, thanks Lewis!!!
I got mine today, fastest delivery from QK ever! While the dye sub caps were nice I put my KBDfans Sabarushi on it and now it's simply perfect. Found my new main! I did go FR4/Azure and it sounds great! Switches are a little light for me but are so smooth I''m going to try them for a few days. If they don't grow on me I'll go Xinhia Heavy or Nixies. I have Tactiles in most boards but heavy linears in my QK75n and Neo80 and they fit well on those boards. The Azure sound VERY similar to Xinhai.
woww that one sounds amazing. Slliiightly regretting my cycle8 purchase (from sound perspective only) but i vastly prefer the look. Still, really great review as always :)
This board sounds amazing with the default configuration. The thock is really nice. I've always preferred deep sounding keebs. Is there a budget 75% board with a knob and ball catch system available or coming out soon? Very nice content bro
I like the HMX config the most here. Maybe I'm hearing things but the switches it came with sound a little pingy to me on the sound tests? Are they like that IRL?
i miss when custom keyboards where at peak in popularity. i remeber everyone at school thinking it was awesome i BUILT my own keyboard. too bad thats it was such a internet phase. it was fun while it lasted. my self im not very into keyboards no more. i built like 3 then i sold 2 and retired. your the best lewis.(and squashyboi)
foamless build sounds bad, very thin:D why are there more and more prebuilt keyboards (or foamboard) that provide features to make customization easier but still use 1.2mm flexcut pcb which I think are bad for other config (foamless builds) :)
I called it the Cycle8 wasn't worth waiting for when stuff like this is eventually going to come out before the pre-order of the Cycle8 is going to ship.
I really like this keyboard and I want to buy it. But there is something I am a little worried about. I live in Germany and i am afraid that i will not get the keyborad or that the keyboard will have some bugs, because then i have to pay for the shipment back to China. What do you think about ?
The turquoise back piece on the black is a no go for me. I know we don't see it, but I'll know 😅 also I'm not sure why you keep leaving out the PET sheets in some videos, they do change the sound profile.
i know this is random but can anyone help me my keyboard numbers are inverted for example my 2-5 has turned into 6-9 and the symbol are also inverted but my 1 and 0 are not. my on screen keyboard and numpad are normal though please help😭😭
It's really good but a shame that they don't offer a tactile switch option. I did ask them if they would on Reddit and i got a one word answer from them: "No". Bit disappointed with the decision and the response.
@@johnle1723 Listen very closely to the sound of the stabilizers at 2:01. You'll hear ticking. Not even my $70 Womier Sk65 has ticking stabs. It's embarassing

They have announced the new Neo75 coming soon-ish and I will be deciding between it and Evo80 for my next kb.
Where can you see the announcement?
@@sukiidx3503It was on Reddit, r/MechanicalKeyboards

Evo is a foam board, cycle 8 is still better
if i had to choose, i would actually still pick a cycle8
Awesome board btw lewis do u usually use a keyboard without a wrist rest ?
i actually do not use a wrist rest

not too sure, definitely feels rarer to see boards with knobs these days

Going to wait to see if they will make a 65 version. I already own 2 Neo65's and love their boards

Is there a software for this keyboard?
do you know how to upgrade the firmware?
Nice vid mate
thanks

That's a PP plate, not POM. Btw I'm not sure if your unit is early production model, they have suspension issue at the bottom.
what is there left for the word "Custom" if prebuilt keyboard are this good already
Paint your own 🤪

can you do a vid for the best 75 keyboards, can be budget, and please include wireless options. thankssss
This or the Crush80 reboot?
Hi. Good informative video! What are the thickness of the upper and lower edges of the case? Can you advise?
I am waivering between the evo80 and the bridge75 is there anything that makes the EVO worth spending the extra money ?
Is this available prebuilt with Nordic keys?

How would you compare the Bridge75 to the Evo80 when it comes to quality, feel, sound, and overall performance?
I'd like a comment about this too. Looking to purchase soon and wondering as well.
