One thing I like about the UK is the police have to tell you what section of the law they are using to detain somebody. Here in the US the police just need reasonable articulable suspicion (RAS) of a crime has occurred, is occurring, or about to occur to detain somebody. They do not have to tell you what crime that might be though.

He wouldn't have the right to demand my details under the terrorist law that he was about to dredge up. It's s stop and search only power. I spotted the ignorance and prized it out of him as he didn't have grounds either to apply that power even for a search. If vehicles use public roads, there's no such thing as a 'private vehicle'. Just waffle from start to last. Such fun!

I knew before going to this one that I would get roughed up... it's a goldfish bowl of a station (overlooked from every angle by the public from behind too) and it just as that aura of a bad station. Those two will be bullying members of the public all day long so it's good that the Gypsy Auditor picked it up and already has got it to a far wider audience than I can hope to reach myself at this moment in time. Sometimes other auditors visit bad stations after incidents like this or they go back to do a re-audit themselves, see if anything has improved there. Keep watching! 🙂

So is there a law that allows 5 minutes filming and that all? I'm getting to the point I find this appalling and unacceptable. In all fairness when they keep interrupting everyone loses track. I just hope next you remember to say "As seem as your acting on behalf or as the property owner in asking me to leave. At this point I am informing you that you will both be named in my civil suit, regarding the un-grited access ramp. So you have the right to remain silent, anything you say or do will be used against you but not for you in a court of law." when they arrest or go hands on, you have proof that it is purely a matter of retaliation and nothing more.

Police Scotland do not wear body cams, and they do not like to be filmed because they like to get aggressive and act outside the law...that copper ordered you " to stop filming while we are talking to you..".....that is quite common in Scotland, most coppers north of the border view themselves being filmed by a member of the public as an act of hostility and aggression and they usually respond in kind, they will always order people to stop filming them, they don't really want filmed evidence of encounters they have with the public, without evidence it gives them free reign to do what they want without being held accountable.
