Quite right! Those local authorities that allow this kind of disgusting policing don't deserve residents. And when the people stop going there the businesses fail and local authorities make redundancies or close altogether. The conduct of police is a huge issue in this scenario. My husbands job takes him all over the UK but we would never move to any place with bad or ignorant cops like these. We chose our current location because of great police who are polite and helpful. We have children to bring up and we do not want them contaminated into thinking they are not free or having their rights infringed upon. We live near a small town and it is delightful! Even our doctors and local hospital is just a wonderful place full of wonderful caring people. Sometimes it feels like living in a place 100 years ago where people would never tolerate their freedom being curtailed by ignorant bullies.
Answer - I enjoy AB’s mini documentary series of towns and cities and enjoy viewing their architecture in particular the publicly funded architecture . It’s a bonus when there are interactions with the townsfolk. All those accents are fascinating.

The PCSO's were clueless, very concerning to see that level of poor training. The one on the radio who as AB pointed out was lying on the radio is also one for concern as she ended by saying that if anything happens at the police station, it is AB who will be hunted by the police to be fitted up trying to connect the video with any incident. So if some disgruntled person say vandalised a car from the car park, the officer stated the first person they will track down is AB even though no connection is there. Detective work at its best at coventry. Wonder what the complaints level is in that area for incompetence and police abusing powers. Least they didnt breech and entertain the usual reason suspecting you under the 'terrorism I can use how I want act'.

Also as a police force, I am not happy that they employ such dim witted tiny framed females that couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. I am not happy that if I was in an incident that these would be the protesters they send to assist me. I paused it to answer your question out of respect, as this subject is often completely misunderstood. I studied photography at university, and for a few years after I was a professional documentary photographer. I quit this job because I was bullied and harassed so many times by the police for doing something normal, and legal. Whilst at university we studied Photography Law, although I knew the law and my rights... the police's behaviour frightened me. This channel, and so many others like it (this is the best one) are standing their ground and teaching people who need to know, their Rights and the law. It is a public service, and AB is a hero in my view. I hope this answers your question. :)

Where I work, we are still expected to cover up tattoos (I don't have any) when dealing with the public.

Not only are they wasting tax payer money with the foolish interrogation but they need to be reprimanded for not having a clue about public photography. The first lady said things that are not true.
The PCSO's were clueless, very concerning to see that level of poor training. The one on the radio who as AB pointed out was lying on the radio is also one for concern as she ended by saying that if anything happens at the police station, it is AB who will be hunted by the police to be fitted up trying to connect the video with any incident. So if some disgruntled person say vandalised a car from the car park, the officer stated the first person they will track down is AB even though no connection is there. Detective work at its best at coventry. Wonder what the complaints level is in that area for incompetence and police abusing powers. Least they didnt breech and entertain the usual reason suspecting you under the 'terrorism I can use how I want act'.
Never said that anything is wrong with investigating but when you have a police officer who doesn't tell the truth on the radio and then follows on to say she will put him in every investigation of crimes happening at the station area is in my view a threat of harassment for someone who is just doing a legal activity. Would she do the same to a person who was stood around for a long time......I think not. She should have been more professional than that and kept her thoughts to herself. Sad to see you seem to struggle when adding a comment, trying to put a name in at start and then trying to say I don't know laws. When you can learn to be more of an adult when replying to peoples views, I will reply in kind. Until then your comments are wasted.

@@theaussieburwoodboy9943 PCSO's (Police Community Support Officer's) are the ones in the high vis with the light blue and the PC's (Police Constable's) are the ones in the black uniform. Not sure how you feel I got that wrong but in the UK that's what they are. PCSO's do not have the police powers. If your in Australia and it may be different going by your name.

I paused it to answer your question out of respect, as this subject is often completely misunderstood. I studied photography at university, and for a few years after I was a professional documentary photographer. I quit this job because I was bullied and harassed so many times by the police for doing something normal, and legal. Whilst at university we studied Photography Law, although I knew the law and my rights... the police's behaviour frightened me. This channel, and so many others like it (this is the best one) are standing their ground and teaching people who need to know, their Rights and the law. It is a public service, and AB is a hero in my view. I hope this answers your question. :)

Once upon a time cops and teachers were revered, respected and regarded as honourable people. Well, that was a long long time ago!!!

Alot of it is the appearance. Once was a time when tattoos weren't even allowed let alone on show. There really is nothing more unprofessional looking than a police officer with tattoos on show. Something I see often and still cannot understand how this shift in atittude has ever been allowed. Where I work, we are still expected to cover up tattoos (I don't have any) when dealing with the public.
