I'm about a month and a half into owning my m50 and I'm in love with it. Going to invest in the 22mm. Thank you for such a clear and detailed explanation of this!

Great advice on the step up ring. I was literally in the market for ND filters so this was perfect. Great video btw as usual.

I'm relatively new to the M50 and your videos have given me quite a few tips, thanks for your hard work. I use 4 of these cameras in my studio, as well as a C100, and they're great. I picked up the 22mm f2 and its my main "talking ahead" lens now. Cheers!

I'm glad you did a review of this lens since It was included when I bought my camera. I now use it (instead of the kit lens) for all my talking head videos because it does a better job of blurring the background. I like your reference to this lens being a "friend" lens. I also use it for portrait photos

I have watched tons of your videos. Just wanted to drop a note and say I appreciate what you do. I've been shooting with the m50 for a couple years and it's nice to see the m50 stuff you do. - Tony

I have the 22mm and it is a fantastic lens, pin sharp and great colour rendering. Definitely notice the difference between it and the kit lens.

Bro I felt that fall. Good save on the camera. I only skate and vlog when I’m trying to get a rolling shot haha.

I shot an entire indoor video on the 11-22mm with M50, and it looked crisp on the camera, but once on the PC, there was so much noise! I had to re-shoot it all with the 22mm...the extra light made all the difference.

I have the 22mm lens, bought it after you suggested it thanks, and I use it alot. Very good lens thats super small and light and works pretty good in low light. Thanks again for the recommendation!

I love my 22 mm lens for indoor shots. The f2 makes it so much easier to work with indoors than the kit lens. Of course, I've used the kit lens indoors but the extra light of the f2 makes it so much easier and is a good compromise between the 15 and 45 mm extreme ranges of the kit lens too. If only the 11-22 mm wide-angle lens were an f2, now that would be a serious walk and talk vlogging lens. It's still pretty good as is but the extra light would be a huge help. Great video.

Love this! Your videos are always a wealth of information, thank you 🙏🏾& the quality was so crisp outdoors! Got my M50 late last year & am finally pretty comfortable using it in the studio but I’ve been so intimated to take it outdoors 😭 Would love to what your settings were?
