You just never know how much time you have left. I was at an estate sale the other day and he only made it to 68. But judging from his stuff, he lived more life than most people. You could tell he traveled a lot.
Hey 👋 Keith & Terri ☕️🙏 good morning ☀️ We talk a lot about going on a cruise or traveling around the country, but don’t. Not so much because of finances, but because we are comfortable where we live. We are well blessed. We talk about cruising, but sitting down and actually making the plan is something else. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🍁🍽 🎉
Might go for a short cruise just to see if you like it. Not everyone likes cruising but you just may be hooked after that first one who knows. Don’t wait until that health window closes. Have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful Thanksgiving week!
Good points raised here. Budgeting is always important. Items need replacing, like your fridge, washing machine, car. They won't signal you three months in advance- no they stop when you least expect it. We save fro trips and spend it accordingly. We go out for dinner occasionally - and allow ourselves treats. All within our financial boundaries. That's not frivolous, that's the reward for being able to. Health- wow now that's one you can have a small influence on - though the unexpected is always lurking. Keeping fit is as important as budgeting. Keep an eye on your health, on your ability to be flexible, have stamina - staying power, and a good balanced diet and weight. Like appliances, the body needs maintenance. Ah yes, the Volunteer Brigade. I do some volunteer 'work' but not on set days. Volunteering isn't without obligation. I've decided I don't mind helping out - but on my terms. Now that I don't have to set the alarm or be somewhere at a set time- I don't want to loose that freedom. That doesn't mean I avoid it- just fit it into my lifestyle. Good points Keith and Terri. Have a great week. 🌻🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
We always enjoy reading your comments Anita! You put such thought into them. We appreciate you always! Have a wonderful week! We celebrate Thanksgiving holiday over her on Thursday. Not sure if you have that holiday over there.
Another great video! The go go years can end in an instant. My husband will be having rotator cuff surgery the week after Thanksgiving. Our go go will be on pause for awhile!
Are you in offense or defense mode?
