5:47 It was an embarrassing mistake because the guy could've just held onto the ball to run out the clock since his team (the Knicks) were up by 2pts. Instead, he shot the ball and missed giving the Bucks a chance to tie/win the game with a lot of time left.
At around 5:50, looks like they are ahead by 2 points with 11 seconds left, meaning they can win if they just run out the clock. If you shoot it, you give the other team a chance to get the ball, which they did, and tie the game with a 2-pointer or win with a 3-pointer.
Ya know most of the time I watch twice. Once for y'alls reaction then to watch what you're watching. LOL! Cheers from Tennessee
2:20 yes it counts for the other team the player closest on that team gets credited with the points
At 5:45 the blue team was out of shot clock and had to shoot or lose possession, they were up by 2pts too. They missed and usually, the opposing team gets the ball, but they got the ball back AND had +11 seconds on the clock to end the game. When the blue player missed that second shot he gave away the control, chance to score, and to run out the clock. He MESSED up.
Exactly. The shot clock was running down forcing the first shot, but resets after the ball hits the rim so they could then run out the game clock.
At 1:45 he was in between passing or shooting. And it does count if it goes in the opponents basket
YES MORE BASKETBALL
He shot the ball when he had the lead which gave the ball to the other team to tie the game or take a lead possibly.
It was embarrassing because possession and running time off the clock was more important than trying to score! They didn’t need to shoot!!!
At about 6:40 one player inbounds the ball and his teammate doesn't touch it. I would guess that they were at the end of the game and wanted to get a few more seconds. The clock doesn't start until someone touches the ball.
When a shot misses everything it's called an airball. Airballs by themselves are right up there at the top of most embarrassing things you can do in basketball.
Basketball is such a fast jpaced game that you really have to watch carefully to know what's going on. These players have so much pressure on them to perform well.......anyway, I have to reiwnd and rewind many times to see what just happened. /but then again, I'm old. LOL
At 6:22 I think number 17 Tucker from the ROckets thought the ball was last touched by a Knick player so he didn't want to touch it waiting for it to go out of bounds & to kill time thinking there were only seconds left lol Or maybe he thought it was supposed to be the other teams ball so he waited til they grabbed it to to take it out? I don't now. hahaha
5:43 was embarrassing because his team was up by 2 points in overtime. His team mate shot it because the shot clock was almost at zero. When he missed it, and they got the rebound, he should have held it or played keep away from the other team so that they couldn't foul him. By him shooting it, he left 11 seconds on the clock for the other team which got his rebound. Most likely, the ball will be taken out at half court and 11 seconds is an eternity in the NBA to tie or win the game.
September 6, 2023 Great videos.
At 6:08 mark it was a bad shot because they were up by 2 and was only like 11secs left...and that miss gave the other possession... coulda just ran down the clock instead of shooting
14 seconds on the clock you're up by two... just hang onto the ball and run the clock out... don't shoot... at least make them foul you...
Baseball?
You need to watch the Larry Bird Ultimate Mixtape.
all of these are embarrassing lol they are the best basketball players in the world….. unacceptable

You should check out Larry Bird if you want to see some amazing basketball
Modern day basketball is so far from the original rules that I have a hard time watching it. They travel almost every time they’re in possession. They carry the ball, they walk and double dribble. I think they do everything they’re not supposed to do.
I haven’t watch the NBA in like 20 years so sad started watching it in the 60s….. but today it’s nothing more than a game of
HORSE
Same here. It's just not fun to watch any more. 90s ball was where it was at
@@raymondjones616 the 90’s were great but I also really enjoyed the early 2000’s- AI, Kobe and Shaq, White Chocolate, and as a Blazers fan in the NW I really miss when the Sonics and Grizzlies were in Seattle and Vancouver
I get what your saying but you have to realize that the rules were made back in the 40’s,and the way it is now allows players to sure case there skills more.
@@raymondjones616agreed, I really only watch the playoffs, but the regular season is kinda boring
Have you guys ever thought of making your video screen bigger and you smaller?
Hi James and Millie. Love your programming. But I have a question about British English. Do you know the expression “to box clever.” How would you describe what it means to “box clever.”?
