Definitely agree with Aidan that basketball has on average the most athletic players. For anybody about to rage I'm NOT saying your sport isn't full of ridiculous athletes. But the combination of their ridiculous height speed and jumping ability plus the coordination needed to play basketball puts it over the top for me. It's one of the only sports where there aren't at least a few players who are kind of fat and out of shape. If they are they get exposed quick. Baseball you can basically be a trucker and play if you have good hand eye coordination or can pitch. Soccer takes ridiculous endurance and coordination also but not much else. Football is close but you get kickers and qbs and some lineman who aren't super athletes. Hockey I don't know much about but seems to be pretty close as well. Other sports are so specialized that I don't think they compete. Basketball basically takes everything athletic about the other sports and rolls it all into one. You gotta be able to jump run have some level of strength and be insanely coordinated . Idk.

On the topic of Ice Hockey you guys should check out some highlights of the #1 pick and hockey phenom Connor Bedard. He's kind of like a Messi type. If you were building the perfect player in a Laboratory you wouldn't come out with him. He 's considered a bit undersized, but he's got a crazy shot, crazy vision in the way he finds open teammates and the way he reads the game feels like he's always 3 steps ahead of his opponents. His game is divine, it's quite a good watch.
Gotta agree with Aiden hockey is a different breed. More technical skill as far as skating and stickskills. You can be athletic and suck at Hockey where in hoops athleticism and cover for a lot of shortcomings at least until you get to NBA. Both require alot of endurance.
