I made some mistakes in my gameplay because this was my first and only attempt. Considering I was able to pull it off in one try with a team that has an average level of 36, a full 5 levels lower than my previous team and nearly 20 levels below Champion Wallace, I would say this makes a compelling case for being the best team in Pokemon Emerald.
