BEST Money Making Method in Pokemon Emerald 2024

- Welcome to this quick guide on making money in Pokémon Emerald. Today, I'll show you a fantastic method involving rematching two trainers to earn a lot of cash!
Setup:
Obtain the Amulet Coin.
Obtain the TM for Thief.
Rematch trainers that you can steal Nuggets from.
Reminder: Don’t forget to remove the Nugget from your second Pokémon before the next battle.

That’s cool but battling the elite 4 with the amulet coin is far superior. You would be at that point in the game to get the rest of this.
I don’t get why this method is chosen by so many people on TH-cam.
1. It’s a lot of work to set up.
2. You can’t rematch them for several minutes. For me it took forever until I could fight them again.
3. What do you even need that much money for? 300-500k money should be easily enough to never worry about anymore.
My suggestion is:
1. Catch rayquaza
2. Equip amulet coin
3. Sweep elite 4 plus champion
You get 40k for elite 4 and 20k for champion. 60k and it only takes 10 minutes. Do this 5 times and you have enough money forever.
If you wanna have money early on the game keep rematching the interviewers. With amulet coin they give 7.5k per battle. If you are fast it should only take 2 mins per fight so 35k in 10 minutes.
I also did this instead and get much money&exp with this (back then I don’t know or careless about IV/EV train)
This is for pre Pokémon league I think. Pickup Pokémon is easily found in route 119, which at that point you should already defeated Norman and can get the amulet coin. Also you would’ve gotten thief easily as well as the pokenav

As a kid, it felt intuitive to go to the interviewers for money because of how often I would be biking around looking for rematches and needing more money for elite four back when I sucked at the game. The thief method is just one to throw on top of biking around and rematching, but Ty and Gabby were definitely the most reliable and I always battled them. My first run, I did so many interviews with them that by the time it came to watch TV for the clearout sale, I had to sit through a ton of interviews first.

Theres no trick in G3
Trick debuted in Generation 3, Kadabra and Alakazam can learn that move, Mr. Mime too. Sentret, Zigzagoon, Spoink, Spinda and Kecleon can learn it as a egg move.
