    Always be yourself, be kind, Treat others in the way you would like to be treated. Remember, two wrongs don’t make a right!!

    A superb interview. Thank you so much for doing it and posting it here. I'd no idea JV was such a fan of radio and so committed to it. Like, I suspect, many others, I'd assumed that he was a BBC career man, shoved into this job by someone who just wanted a known BBC name on Radio 2. How nice to know that I was completely mistaken. Anyone whose radio hero is Kennny Everett is obviously a true radio man. A total revelation. Thanks again.

      Who keeps giving this sleazy bastard work? The dumbing down of the media is in full swing with this prick.

    I've been out of the BBC arena for a couple of years due to working away. I had always loved what Jeremy V had to say on his show, but coming back and listening, what a COMPLETE BULLY! He used to have so much sympathy and empathy with his callers but another reason for me turn OFF R2.

      I'd rather walk about in knee deep mud for 2 hours than Listen to Jeremy Vine

    are you the one trying to destroy Alex Belfield?

      I reckon so

    • @johnking5174
      @johnking5174 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No one is trying to destroy Alex. Alex is a very very bitter man, who has never forgiven the BBC for sacking him from BBC Radio Leeds. He doesn't just have a chip on his shoulder, he has a massive gaping hole.

    • @johnking5174

      @@markglover4584 He doesn't care about Alex Belfield. No one at the BBC cares about him. Alex is a small, vindictive non entity, who has not a chip on his shoulder, rather two very large gash wounds, as he seems to have become scarred by his firing by the BBC who could not tolerate his behaviour on air. That is the reality.

    The listeners “ make” the programme. J.Y was a fine example of expertise.

    Dear Jeremy bearing in mind the sad state of the country ie nhs on its knees schools sport centres closing reducing libraries opening hours. I was just wondering if it would be possible for u to pay your appropriate tax After all you r paid byte tv license fee which is not means tested (meaning the poverty stricken r forced to pay irrespective of there financial position in society. I fully understand it’s hard making ends meet on £330,000 a year and I will say a prayer for u but using your ten year old daughter to avoid paying your rightful tax renders u a person lower than a benefit cheat I just don’t know how u can sleep on a night u r an offence to humanity sir !

    Hated the way he talked to one of his callers when he tried to defend a briilant scientist who got sacked for harmless sexist bantering, then stopped a woman for speaking out against the appalling behaviour of women at hen nights when they were discussing the presidents club.

    Hi Jeremy Vine you never answered question the Welsh man from miners family who asked you , concerned of you being overpaid do you think you are overpaid ? And also what happened to the £1000 BBC tax money?

      Helen Fox why would you say that he is using his daughter to evade paying his appropriate tax. He is paid 330,000 from the tv licence fee (so he lives on the back of the poverty stricken) He uses his position to attack the proletariat he is a low human being which makes u a sycophant

    • @helenfox6121

      Press will make anything up to sell papers. Tabloids are the real lowest.

      And he recently agreed to take a pay cut...

    • @fatherrob5128
      @fatherrob5128 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Helen Fox oh so that’s ok then 330,000 from single mothers the disabled He is actively using his daughter as a tax loop hole all on tv license fee payers who r not means tested so he is living on the backs of the poor Helen

    • @helenfox6121
      @helenfox6121 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well I'm on the autism spectrum and have anxiety/epilepsy and many things and still think he's amazing. Plus he doesn't exactly decide what he gets paid, he's doing it because he loves his job. You can tell that just listening to his enthusiasm, zest and charisma.

    I love listening to BBC Radio 2 now, Jeremy Vine is great presenter, Along with Zoe Ball Ken Bruce Steve Wright Sara Cox, Gary Davies etc etc, Not like the car crash radio station that put you to sleep on your trucking night or day shift back in the 80's, All these presenters are ex radio 1 presenters i use to listen to in the 80's. Great station.

    I noticed a lot of very rude comments on here about Jeremy. It seems Mr Alex Belfield's friends are trolling the comments section here, ready to give Jeremy a pasting.
