@sjuanarturo A continuously blinking red light means there is some obstruction in the machine head, something could be stuck causing the machine head to not move. Once you have checked and removed any obstacle, try opening and closing the machine head. A full capsule cup May cause as well
have Vertuo Plus and I clean the machine weekly (just regular cleaning-just touch the Botten three times in three second and indicate orange light - will automatically be cleaning three cycle and it automatically stop -indicate green light shows it's done ) that way it takes little longer to use before actually full cycle descaling cleaning mode, that's I do
@@BStride because only have one cup of expresso coffee a day therefore it will takes me to do about 6 months to descaling cycle, though people who drinks more coffee a day yeah should do about two or three months descaling cycle, that just my opinion
@@BStride yes I ran water through the machine 4 times after the descaling. I ran plenty of clean water through it. The problem is both buttons pressed at the same time turns machine off
@@22norcalpressing down on the handle button for three seconds turns the machine off. Try holding the top button down just slightly before the handle button otherwise it may think you are just trying to turn it off? If not Maybe you have already left descale mode somehow

After descaling I press both buttons for 3 seconds and machine turns off
Did you add water and press the top button once to run water through the system before pressing both buttons to enter back into normal mode?
