Just some quick tips. It’s slow. Give it time. The descaling process takes over 20mins. When it’s done the light still stop flashing. Don’t add more water. Don’t press any buttons. Just let it figure out it’s done. Takes annoyingly long. Once it’s done blinking all you do is rinse the water container and fill it once it’s been cleaned. Then place it back and press the start button and it will be orange then press the start button one more time. I’d rinse it a few times to make sure the descale stuff is out.

Does the flashing orange stop when it’s done descaling or just keep flashing like mine is? The water/solution is pumped through but it’s still flashing orange and doing nothing. I expected a green light to indicate it’s done
@@nespresso Do the machines use the same light/indication to identify different problems in different geographical locations? It's great that you gave the support phone number, but surely the machine problem is identical regardless of location?
Location should not affect your machine unless you're using a machine purchased in another country. We do not suggest this as it will void your warranty and could damage your machine and home.
Hi, Marleni. Once rinsing is complete the button will be blinking orange every 2 seconds. To take the machine out of descaling mode, hold the button and lever down simultaneously until the light either starts blinking green or becomes steady green. Same thing happened to me the first time I did it. What the video doesn’t tell you is that the cycle will continue as long as there’s water in the tank. I kept adding water!😂. Fill the tank, but don’t add any more water, as soon as the machine gets to the bottom it should stop. Then press the lever down and the button for 3 seconds and it should go back to green light. Hope that helps.
My machine stays in the orange blinking mode too. I've followed the video 3 times and also tried not refilling the watertank, but my machine just turnsoff after a while and when i turn it on agian, it is still in the orange blinking mode.. When i leave the rinsing/descaling program, the machine still shows the half red and half orange sign.. can anyone help?
These machines are the sh*ttest! I've had mine replaced three times. Just descaled following these ridiculously convoluted instructions and now it's lit up red and won't work.
