Is QA role into manual testing or automation testing?
In any type of organisation, ultimately QA department is responsible for the Quality of Finihed Goods or Services towards customers on behalf of that organisation. But at the same time production, process or other services departments are also sould ensure to maintain the necessary manual testigs or automation testings for proper finished goods. QA can supervise the manual or automation testings are done properly by process people. QA people can see time to time all records. In some organisation inprocess manual testing are done by QA people. Ultimately customer should get godd product or service.
It depends on what type of field you're in.
