Thanks for going over everything, really interested to see some more modeling done with the new tools. I imagine your seat cushion model from your stream would go a lot easier if you did it now.
Haha yeah it will be alot easier to do stuff like that with CV editing for sure, I've been playing around with them alot and truly that tool in particular has opened so many doors.
Love the updates but I'll have to wait until my project is textured etc and I have a bit extra cash. I was one of the unlucky indie 1.0 users that paid 99 before the 149 change to include the major addition. The CV addition makes it a must though. Thank you for the detailed tutorial
I’m with you. Got my Indi license in Sep ‘23. And now, of course, if one wants the FULL programme - including XNurbs - you have to buy the Studio license. As a hobbyist I’m not really seeing the need to buy. Nice programme though. Guess I’m going to have to stick with sculpting in NomadSculpt on the iPad.
Yeah as you can see in the later part in ended up turning a face into a sheet then thickening it in order to get it to work, still an awesome tool none the less
Took me a while to figure out aswell, Just download the installer directly from the website and that, when you run it will automatically install the latest version that your license entitles you too. I had trouble getting the latest version to work so I unistalled previous the version first
The updates are mostly in the discord on the updates thread. I'll cover any major releases here in any case and Nick Allen the creator does in his youtube aswell
I just purchased this amazing tool to renew. An amazing tool and amazing tutorial❤
Thank you and I agree it's fantastic software

I was in the same boat, but upgraded a few weeks ago. Cvs are really the game changing feature for plasticity this update.

Dependant Offsets is a bit flaky - sometimes works sometime doesn't using the same solids.

I think that cv feature might only be available on the studio licence.
As far as I am aware I CVs is in the Indy licence.
I definitely have it with my Indie license
Only xnurbs is limited to studio along with the normal export/import differences
I think you have to do “raise degree” first which I did see the option on Indie
Yep that's right or you can hit rebuild as well
1 year user now....but, how the frig do you actually download version 2024.1??

Thank you….as now with this release I’m WAY behind on updates!…..clearly, I’m off the email list.

music is horible and interferes with the listening experience
Thank you, and thanks for the feedback back I wondered if it was too loud when I was editing it.
