  • Mixture is a fantasy action-adventure in which two enemies in an alliance of necessity traverse barren worlds in a quest for redemption and is now available on the Quest 2 platform. Nice video, very informative and descriptive.
If you want to grow your channel you might want to throw more pause and less cognitice demanding parts(many details) in there. It requires very active listening atm. I skimmed through it.
Interesting game, im gonna try it.

It’s nice to see a game with an actual interesting art style due to the hyper focusing on “muh realism ultra settings” crap. I personally like the art style of the game. I tend to like darker games in general because it adds contrast with color or light, a few examples are Return Of The Obra Dinn, This War Of Mine, and F.E.A.R. It’s why I don’t like games that have a focus on realism in their art style. Because the lighting is overly bright. Look at The Forest or Hubris for example.

As a fan of Moss, I've had my eye on this one for a while. Looks pretty good, but I hope it gets a little bit of a visual boost for its PSVR 2 release. The art style is cool, but doesn't see fully realized as some of the assets just come across as not having enough detail.
I'd also love it if games like this offered a proper local coop option, with one player controlling the character on a flat screen and the other player assisting in VR. Might be less reasonable on the Quest 2 where getting a social screen working can be a bit of a pain, but on PSVR 2 it could be a nice feature.
Anyway, great job on the review!

Youll be disappointed to hear that the psvr2 port will have 0 psvr2 features and no graphical overhaul. No headset rumble, no DFR, no adaptive triggers, no eye tracking, just a lazy straightforward port

@@bxile730 Yeah I saw that. Seems very underwhelming. Shame, as it showed some promise in the previews. Oh well, there are other games to look forward to. Thanks for pointing it out anyway 👍

It still looks fun, but as a psvr2 owner, it’s definitely underwhelming as you say. I bought a psvr2 for these really cool features and most developers don’t implement them or implement them months to a year later when i already purchased it, beat the game and dont wanna revisit it. It’s unfortunate. But ive still been loving the gell out of vr gaming the past 5 months, psvr2 being my first vr system. Ive been enjoying vr so much, i got $200 dollars saved up for a meta quest 3 i plan on purchasing in 3 weeks. I cant fet enough of VR and find it very hard to go back and enjoy traditional gaming

@@bxile730 Yeah, its been unfortunate how many games don't really take advantage of the PSVR 2's unique features. To be fair when it comes to eye-tracking/DFR, that was often not included because of issues with the Unity engine (which are hopefully resolved with the latest update).
But a lot of games have failed to take full advantage of the haptics and adaptive triggers as well, for no technical reason. Maybe it's a consequence of the small install base of PSVR 2, as developers have to balance the time and effort they put into a port vs the potential returns they'll get from the platform.
Glad you're enjoying VR so much though. I got in with PSVR 1 in 2019 and I could probably count the number of flat games I've played since then on one hand. VR's just a whole other level.

@@GreyMatterShades unity finally officially implemented dfr to make it easy for developers but this was very recent. But, madison vr, a game that was supposed to release on march 29th was delayed. They delayed it to add DFR, snd gueds what, they already did it and submitted it to sony so they can get another release date. That was like 2-3 weeks of extra work. It can definitely be done, id imagine implementing haptics and adaptive triggers is easier than implementing DFR. Developers have to know when they do these lazy ports, it always disappoints most psvr2 owners because we own a psvr2 for those very reasons. And yeah man, i missed out on psvr1 but i hope they continue to port psvr1 games over. I just beat red matter 2 and omg it was an amazing experience. One of my top 5 vr games for sure
