    just go out like 1:56 and get a 20 second lead and win easily!!!!!!!!! Who are these noobs? Tactical? yea, for 200 meters. I would have lapped the field!!!! lol

      u go out in 156 the whole field will sit behind u while u suffer in the wind. come last 300 theyll all pass you

      You don’t understand tactics brother, positioning, running less distance, choosing the right time to strike, quit being naive, all these guys would have most likely take you out, it was a crazy last lap, I get it that the pace was slow, but at the end of the day that’s what championship can be, slow or fast, you have to execute on the day

      watch any other NCAA race where runners try to do this - especially with that awful head wind these guys were experiencing. this tactic never works in the NCAA’s. the most recent example is parker valby getting chased down my katelyn tuohy at the 2022 xc championships.
