Justyn Knight has major upside. In my humble opinion, I think Justyn's race tactic was to stay with Cheserek. Meanwhile, Cheserek's race plan was to win and not let anyone get in front of him over the last few laps. I think the results could have been different if Justyn had started his sprint first. I believe that they both have similar top end speed so the guy who jumps first in this instance is likely going to be the winner. A+ for Cheserek's race plan, and A- for Justyn's race plan. As always it is very easy to give feedback after watching it all play out.

Controlled run by Justyn Knight.. he looked the freshest in the closing stages.. but indoor track doesn’t allow for passes.. agreed with the comment if Knight made the move first.. it would have been much different.

The announcer said that 7:45 is "almost" 4:15 per mile pace. 4:15/mi would be 8 flat with around a 29-30 sec last 200 to get to 2mi. 7:45 is much closer to 4:06-7/mi with around a 28 sec last 200 which is within all these guys wheelhouse.

Sad to see the 2013 Adidas Dream Mile champ, Ben Saarel, getting dropped off the back of the pack pretty early.

why do so many distance runners struggle with their form when it comes to their arms? I've been taught to pump my arms on the outside of my body and keep from criss crossing them into my chest.

Dominic Sumner You shouldn't really criss cross your arms when you run.

Running fast looks different for everyone. As long as you’re running smooth it doesn’t matter. Smooth is fast and relaxed is faster. Whatever that looks like for you is fine. Even sprinters all look different when they’re sprinting. There is no perfect form

@@jazzyjay4595 there’s definitely such thing as perfect form, but “perfect form unfortunately for some looks different. But scientifically the most efficient form is pretty much how mo Farrah, Bekele, kipchoge, pretty much all the greats run
