Your enthusiasm is contagious. I'm in the market for an SS1LE in the near future and while this one isn't the 1LE, it's still a blast to watch. Well done.
Thank you, it was a lot of fun to drive. Not as fun (or should I say scary fun) as the ZL1 I drove a while back. That review will come out in July... That car was nuts...
I can't even imagine what 650 HP would be like... if I could afford the extra 20 grand or so, it would be my first choice. I picked the wrong career... I'm not pretty, I can't sing, and I'm computer illiterate, so... I'll keep dreaming :)
Great review, great rolling shots, acceleration pulls, audio clips, commentary, enthusiasm.!!!! Fast car, great sound, nice interior, good looking exterior--especially in black!
Excellent video! Kudos to Preston for bringing his SS out for you to drive. Always good to see a Mustang owner come over to the dark side, even if only for a few minutes. :) j/k! My apologies, in that my schedule hasn't lined up for getting the 1LE out to you yet. If you are still interested in taking it for a review run as well, just send me a pm and we'll coordinate a date/time. Either way, keep those C&C and review videos coming. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! And naturally I am game to review your 1LE if only because of the manual transmission! And I will continue to do Cars and Coffee and car reviews for as long as there are cars out there for me to review!
I love the new ones. Didn’t know they were smaller. Does the car have lane warning monitors? Can you get these in Germany? Or would it be better and cheaper to import one yourself? If possible. Would love to have one in Berlin.
Just traded a GMC Sierra Denali black on black on black with 6” lift for a black on black on black Camaro 2 SS. Gr8 review! Of course if the car sux so would the review. 😬
The Dutch Texan I do like how it slopes in though. I think it will help in sunlight. (I think) We took an Impala to Houston and it was sloped the opposite direction and I had trouble seeing it when the sun was shining in. I guess I'm used to the I pad mini :) I have the same one in my truck and the Vette. Have you seen 60" big screen tv they put in the Tesla Model X? That's like a true IPad in size.
HAHA Great Review! I just bought this vehicle. Im laughing because I know exactly where you are at. No better place to push the engine a little on the tollway! Lol
Yup! A Gen6 with a V8 is always a good time! It is also amazing what the platform is capable of. I had the opportunity to drive and review a 1000whp ZL1, and that was straight nuts!
feels like NASCAR, i prefer the Challenger muscle car. Handling cars , i bought a BMW and Porsche Turbo for the feel in brakes, steering and load feel in corners that i never could feel in Corvette let alone a Hot Rod. Not sure a Viper or ZR1 could match feel of just a M4 or c63s or any fast Porsche, i just can't feel the edge of limits in domestic
Guess I am one of those Nascar people... I like big burly V8's! I love the Challenger, but I have yet to find an owner that will let me review theirs. It has been on the list alongside the Camaro for a long time. It's definitely not because I have no love for MOPAR's, that's for sure!
The Dutch Texan fantastic point. I have had Japanese sports cars my whole life and when I went to go test drive the new mustang and Camaro I really disliked the sight lines. I like being able to place the car but I guess most Americans seem to not be concerned with that on a track
I know, I know, the exhaust sounds radical, but heck the last thing I want to do is attract the cops with sound from more than 1/2 mile away....This is why is best to keep it as stock as possible, except for maybe the exception of an intake.
The owner made an artistic choice to wrap the hood. He never called it a 1le or pretended it was one. I think it looks a million times better than keeping it all one color.
i would like to do the same for my car but do the hole car before it gets scraps on it but at the same time i would like to get me the le cause its a better car i think and its a stick it would be a waist of money for me to wrap it when i want to trade it for the le

Don’t worry, I am in the same boat! I am just happy that this hobby has had me drive cars I could have never dreamt of!
Beautiful black on black camaro sounds great too
It sounded great alright! Getting an exhaust for it seems like a waste of money IMHO!

Thanks for the awesome comment! I loved it!

I have a 2016 2SS A8 model... i can do 88mph @ 2k rpm. And most ive got was 32mpg on the highway
This guy is enjoying his life
It is the best hobby in the world!
Those new camaros are pretty quick. I've yet to drive one and they look like a lot of fun
It definitely educated me! Lots of fun!
@@TheDutchTexan how was it?! Did it get away from you at times 🤣

If the car sucked you wouldn't have watched the review to begin with right? Hahaha! Anyway, I love the gen 6, they did a lot right with this one IMHO!
@@TheDutchTexan I bought the car before I saw your review. Your review just reinforced my faith in the purchase. Thx!
@@Sammy-rn9fk I am glad it did! Always good to feel good about a car purchase for sure!

great review! really enjoyed this one!
The sole reason for the Camaro's existence is to tempt those with Mustangs away from Ford. And it does a pretty convincing job...
head turners for the win
Great review. I love the 2017 Camaro. I have one too. I love the interior, the exterior stying etc.
Agreed on all points save for the iPad mini! 😂

#headturners 🙌🏽😎
I'm a Ford guy but there's a yellow one of these sitting here with 29k miles. Should I buy it lol
That is a question only you can answer yourself!
The STI looks like a babies Hi Top Tennis shoe.

How much for one of this ?
I’m a simple man I see Texas I like and subscribe
I need more like yourself!
Came out awesome!!
Thank you Preston! It was a good day that day!
Goed gedaan jochie! Blessings to you and your loved ones, in name of Jesus Christ. Cheers from Texas!
Bedankt! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!
Clear coat looks BEAT
Dear Dutch Texan,
Xmas is soon, Can you plz send that camaro back to the Netherlands for me as gift?
Thanks
ps. also send some fuel.
Hahaha! Don't forget money for the road tax...

Is this a review or a comparison to a mustang
Sorry you didn't find what you were looking for in this video.
Great review. The horrible visibility keeps me out of this car.
Agreed, that visibility clip is insane. The mustang is somewhat better, but it's still pretty bad in those too. Nature of the car.
The Dutch Texan fantastic point. I have had Japanese sports cars my whole life and when I went to go test drive the new mustang and Camaro I really disliked the sight lines. I like being able to place the car but I guess most Americans seem to not be concerned with that on a track
It’s something you get used it, i dont even notice it after 3 months
Rafa Delgadillo what was your vehicle prior to this one?
Blake Swan Silverado

It is the risk you take. This one was pretty tame compared to the ZL1 I reviewed though!
shooda gotta manual.
I must be getting old... I don't care for a manual like I used to. But, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world on my Mustang!
A8 Automatic is much better!
yes but this is not a le it is a ss it looks like a le with the hood but its a ss
I don't recall calling it a 1le tho...
yes but with that hood it looks like a le want to be
