That’s absolutely ridiculous! How can a company with such great engineering capability build such a mess. I was 90% ready to buy a Multistrada Enduro. Now I’m going to take a second look at the GS.
It is a pain ... trying to find or replace air filter on a Ducati Multistrada Enduro, I took it to DUCATI dealer for service and they didn't do it, plus they steal my fuel.
because statistically maybe 10-20% of MS owners ever do their own service. So get over it, and get it done. There is nothing difficult about it. it is just way too many screws. And go for prefilters - the main filter will live 3-4x longer like this. It is pretty similar to 1290 ktm actually - and there You can murder many parts easily during this operation.

You forgot the hardest part . Loosening the fuel pipe from the fuel pump… and that’s a tricky part.. breaks fast
