Best Underrail tutorial for beginners. I was having a lot of troubles at the beginning of the game but thanks to this tutorial, I managed to get through the beginning and now I'm picking up the pace and enjoying it. Thank you
@@1KevinPantoja Dominating/oddity is not for roleplay. You HAVE to create a perfect character and use every cheese possible to even have a shot at the game. If you want to RP, "normal" is the intended difficulty for the game. Even then you have only SOME space for RP. Full RP playthroughs are only possible on the easy/classic, I'd say.
@@nerevarinenwah3690 Yes, In my case, I'm playing on normal and it's difficult enough, I really don't see the possibility of not having to make the most of It, available on Dominating.
Fun fact: I f you have a few bear traps and a grenade you can lure the second rathound group to murder the sgs soldier. I do this every time so I can cheese the sentries with my stolen vest.
Cool video, really helped me as a beginner, one question though. Paran0id, why did you level up TM if you do not unlock your psi abilities, i just don't understand, can you explain please?
I need 55 skill points in TM, so i can use Psycho-temporal Contraction. I don't really need the other abilities in TM yet. Psionic Mentor: Psycho-temporal Contraction can be bought at railroad doctor. I need that ability as soon as possible because it is extremely helpful, so i go buy it as soon as i finish junkyard. That means i buy it at about level 10 or 11, exactly when my TM skill is at 55. Basically i'm just planning ahead, because i know i will buy the ability as soon as i reach TM skill 55 and finish Junkyard.
@@realhumanbean7915 Oh right.. I don't enable PSI empathy from the Doctor in SGS because it lowers my HP by 20%.. So i wait until the last minute to enable it, which is after Junkyard basically.
@paran0idgaming595 enemies are attracted by flares as well, but it might be a smaller radius comparative to a grenade, also flares disable Stealth. so It may just be a stupid idea. but if it works it could be a useful strategy over throwing a nade at a rock 🤷 I'll try it myself in a bit
at 29:20 it's a 946 shield!!!! wow Can you check if this is normal value? isn't the usual value like 400-450? do a quick new game run to Mordre to see his shield value? During my 50 test runs I have never see him drop a shield this high
Good catch. I have never gotten such a good energy shield in my runs either. The highest i can remember is probably around 450 capacity. So the RNG must have been extremely good this time. They are usually around 300 capacity, sometimes as low as 150.
@@paran0idgaming595 thanks, when the only two Underrail guides I watch on youtube both get above 800 shield without any reload I thought there's something wrong with my game :D
@@kkonaw3805 Pure luck and literally never happens. Take a look at my IronMan Dominating Run: th-cam.com/video/fNwEpKlMfm8/w-d-xo.html The shield i got there is 167 capacity, which is much more likely that 900. But on that same run, i got Cave Hopper Tabi boots in the outposts (which increase movement points and movement speed), which is extremely helpful early game, especially when you are trying to finish the game quickly in 9 hours. Anyways each run i actually carefully inspect the items that drop from Mordre. So you will see me inspecting the sniper, rifle, energy shield, because i know there is a lot of RNG involved. When he drops a strong rifle or energy shield, it's really help to the rest of my run.
@@paran0idgaming595drops are quite random these days. I remember back before release in the Foundry release patch everything is more consistant. Not 100% sure, but I feel the loot drops definitly got more random when Styg also made the random dungeons and random encounter events.

Good guide. This makes me want to finally try a Assault rifle build (so far I play cave wizard every time 😂)
A little psychopathic, but impressive strategic start :)
Yes, I skipped the part about killing innocents, just for roleplay reasons 🤣

Yeah oddity forces your character to be an absolute kleptomaniac
Amazing video, I'd never guess to gas guards

To add to the comment above, if you're only planning on using contraction there is no reason for you to take a 20% health max hp debuff until level 11

very helpful indeed, thanks
have you tried throwing a flare instead of a grenade when killing the bandits?
I think enemies are attracted by noise.. I don't think it will work, but i will try it.

Did they patch the sgs guard gas cheese? I get aggro every time I try
Yes it was patched a few days ago, it's now a controlled zone, sorry :(
You van still gas mordre
