Speedrunning does not reflect the "'normal"' dominating experience as it requires very specific strategies and knowledge. Don't be intimidated, you should still try it out ! It's worth it
No, don't tell that to yourself. DOMINATING can be quite fun, if you've beaten the game on Normal or Hard before you're probably able to beat dominating, all you need to make sure is to: 1) Save often and do backups in case saves corrupt (happened to me on a 120h playthrough) 2) Follow a build guide Other than that, it's smooth sailing after you get out of Junkyard, well, maybe not smooth, but still sailing, if you're getting stuck and can't get through then try out different builds and get a feel for it, personally I reached quite far after doing a machine guns build. Also speedrunning is like a beast of its own, if beating the game normally is equivalent to you studying for the exam by studying each chapter carefully and understanding the topics and being ready for any question, then speedrunning is memorizing the exam, committing it to memory and writing all the answers flawlessly from muscle and memory. Not that I've done any speedrunning but that's how it feels when you watch it, people committing actions and techniques to memory and making sure everything runs as intended, instead of playing like you normally do.
@@anapaulabarbosadossantos8641 I cant speedrun cause no speedhack, get bored too fast so I'm not really experienced but I would guess ironman. Not to say this isnt hard, obscurium got the moves for sure.
So I assume the reason you don't just pay for the Wormhole in Junkyard is because it's too expensive? Also, why kill Phreak? And lastly, what killed Tchort at the very end? Was it the Entropic Recurrence, even though you were in Stasis? I've never used it so I have no idea how it works.
Yes, there is no world were I can get 1k charons on dominating in the first 20 minutes. I kill Phreak because I need the Remote Control Energizer Glove and the MK III lockpicks. Yes it was Entropic Recurrence. It basically repeats the last damage number you did to the target over 4 turns while empowering it.
Make a speedrun of Heavy Duty on a minHP character, not DexCon, is amazing. On top of that, not heavy weapons or grenade launchers involved. Which can be usable even with 10% accuracy and do absurdly amount of damage.
