tbh i noticed that when i got to plat i felt like I lost alot of my skill from g3, maybe its because Im still being introduced to higher level play and enemies who know what they are doing, if anyone has experienced this, I need some advice, though i feel that I am getting punished for alot more of my agressive plays.
The thing with valorant is every single game plays our differently so now that youre in higher elo, you will get punished for alot of the things that worked in lower elo, and people are very good in this rank especially their aim so taking straight up aim duels all the time usually wont work, the best thing to do is learn from the mistakes you are making and adapt overtime to correct them!
What has been helping rank up (plat 2 now but started Iron 1) since I can only play 1-2 comp games a day max is that after warming up playing 2 DM’s if I am “feeling” it I play duelist and if I am not I play sentinel. I also switched from vandal to phantom which has decreased the amount of super satisfactory shots but has increased my consistency a lot.

i can agree about the phantom thing, whenever I can't get kills from vandal, I shift to phantom and I start to get good, and yeah it is not as satisfying as much as vandal though xd
Personally I played yoru and got to g3-plat1. My agressive plays were getting shut down but teams playing anti flash. At this level i Personally believe it is important to make a change to initiator and call plays bc in my experience a duelist without assistance is a death sentence higher elo. My mechanics def need working on, but playing teams where I cant move without getting one tapped is incredibly frustrating as a duelist with 0 backup/strat. I highly recommend playing sky or kayo
1005 if you are playing duelist with no support to get onto sight the game is close to impossible, however if you learn how to play initiator and help out your duelists you will win alot more games! love the mentality! you will crush it keep it up! much love

these tips are super helpful im on an 11 win streak and a big climb and not doing bad but these are def things i think about but need to apply ingame instead of shutting my brain off and trying to win aim duels

i worked my ass off last season to hit immortal. 1 rank away then the rank reset. got ranked plat 2. first game immediately double rank up to diamond 1. now im almost gold 3. im not sure to as of why my lobbies have been teammates throwing and trolling. im now from a2 to g3. im very confused to as of why i am getting so unlucky with my lobbies. looks like im starting all over again at the basics of valorant

So close to getting out of plat this act, I was 96rr plat 3 but the quality of games I got after that went downhill. I played cypher on all games and performed consistently but you can't control the outcome of how your teammates play. Playing smart didn't help much on those games I have lost. It's random and climbing is impossible unless you constantly carry on a duelist role. Rn i'm plat 2 50rr and I think about dropping the game.
I came close to my rank after the reset so i am doing well even tho i am getting matched with ex dia, ascendants ;d (and my favorite phantom skin must be the reaver it feels as good as the oni but this is just my personal opinion)

I actually love your tips, but the problem with me is that consistency... it makes me frustraiting to the point where I keep loosing over and over again but just depends on the days where I play. I hit Diamond 1 around April which is actually make me happy and made my day because of incoming Intramurals that time and also I make new friends that who are Ascendants and Immortals, because of them I watch their playstyle and also learning communicating with one another into another level make me applying it to my playstyle, this is the reason why I ranked up winning streak of 9 games to Diamond 1, and after the Intramurals we actually got into 1st Runnerup. So the main problem is that after the happiest days turned into saddest days where my downfall again is back, beause of whiffs, tilting, the timing, or having bad lucks on games. Should I take a break? or keep pushing forward. Deranked from Diamond 1 to Plat 2 btw.
Hey, I'm sorry to hear that you have run into a bit of a rut but remember in life there are always ups and downs, usually a big drop after a big high but that's okay and that's normal, you should look into taking a break from the game let your body and mind reset and come back in a couple days and try again, sometimes you just need to step away for a bit, take some time off then come back with a positive outlook and determination and remember how good you were playing and youll rank up quickly! much love
My mechanics are already good and my people say I should be diamond-ascendant because if my aim but my teammates are always peak platinums and my enemies always peak ascendant. I usually tofrag-secondfrag my teammates are also toxic most of the time but if my teammates are diamond then I have good Comms

I was d2 in E5:A3 and at the start of E6 I placed plat 1, now it’s A3 and I’m hardstuck plat 2, lose -25 on a loss and gain like +10 on a win. Plat really fkn sucks

legit is stuck in this rank since beta due to never giving enough fucks about the game to rank up and it's all down to garbage teammates each time I lock duelist I get called a "smurf" until they see my career rank and see my peak is p3 but constantly match MVP and still lose with teammates that don't even reach double digits somehow but have the biggest ego/mouth this game is just truly not mechanically demanding enough to hard carry 3 dead weights when solo queueing
unfortunately this does happen! the best thing for you to do is to never solo queueing and if you dont have people to play with make sure when youre playing and you find people who are trying to win and are communicating to add them after the game and continue to do this so you never have to solo queue again, i hope this helps much love
I started at iron 3 and peaked dia 2. Idk what has changed with me but i cant hit diamond anymore. I try communicating but tokyo servers make it goddamn impossible to communicate because no one talks at all and sometimes i want some intel on where the enemy they died from were.
Hey! so if your team isnt communicating try your best to always play with a duo, and also if your teammate dies check the minimap as it will show you were they died from! it can be very hard to win without coms so hopefully your team starts to talk more! but if they dont hopefully these tips help aswell! much love!

Seems like it's a Japanese culture thing where a lot of Japanese are quite shy to talk. I tried to play before in Tokyo server and most Japanese rarely talks. They only talks 2-3 times in the entire game.

What do i do about the people who say I over communicate, and may get angry at me for saying something they might already have known. It really discourages me to speak during my ranked games when someone tells me to "stop talking".
try to only give coms that are necessary, and never back seat game, call out what you hit the enemy for, where you saw them, if they have any utility left and if you know someone has been doing the same thing every round, other than that you dont need to say to much! work on only giving necessary coms and dont let people get to you!
I literally got plat today and thats by just hitting double digits every game I plat I have lost every ranked game but 2 and I am plat it shows that it can be easy and I only play comp like 3 times a week all the other times I am in a practice or in swiftplay or deathmatch just getting better at the game but yeah if you have a good mind set valorant is a very easy and fun game and COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

dropped from d2 to p1 and stuck for one month plus in plat I can confidently say that this video is super outdated because you cant do shit against smurfs, no one is going to comm no matter how much u try to get them to, and your teammates will always be making dumb plays and not listen to comms at all
sorry to hear you dropped, but smurfs arent a massive issue, the issue is no one takes self accountability and blames it on external factors, if you have a million reasons on why you cant rank up and none of them are you you wont go anywhere, stop with a victim mentality and know that you can and will rank up if you choose to but the first step is realizing youre the reason you are there nothing else, everyone gets these lobbies and not everyone is hardstuck, find what you need to improve on and improve it, use these tips regardless of what the external environment is doing you will get teammates who do com and lsiten but if you stop just because sometimes you dont well you wont get anywhere, i hope this helps much love

Unfortunatly, the game is in a team of 5 so it's just obvious that if you'r teammates are not following the level you are on, the game is not winnable. This game has a Big percentage of luck based on the matchmaking. You just cannot say that people saying that are acting like victims it IS litteraly how the game works. You cannot ace every round or even do like 3 kills every round you'r not a pro so yeah obviously it depends on if you have bad teammates 1/2 games or 1/4.

you are playing against them because your MMR is high, and the diamonds you are playing against have low MMR, which means they are in lower ranked lobbies and you are in higher ranked lobbies, it is super annoying valorant does this, but it just means if you continue to play as good as you do, you will rank up quickly as long as you are winning! So believe in your abilities and win your games you got this! much love!
Right now I am Gold 3, and idk why but I always get match mvp in ascendant/dia lobbies(5stack with my friends) where I feel easy to play and also I mostly get plat/dia players as a gold 3 player since my mechanics are extremely good and my mmr is very high and also be the match mvp there but still I lose many matches... Even I reached gold 3 95 rr but I still lost(because of bad teammates and good opponents) and now I am gold 3 25 rr. Can anyone plz adivse me cause its really frustrating when I get 30-35 kills in almost everymatch but still gets punished for useless teammates
hey! so one thing that happens to alot of people is they match MVP with alot of kills and get upset they lose and yes it can be frustrating, but if you are getting this many kills and not winning then somehting is going wrong and its not always your teammates, sometimes its how you are playing with your teammates, you need to be able to find impact other than just kills, are you setting your team up with utility? are you helping them get kills? are you communicating with them and helping boost moral? lots of things can ahve impact in the game other than kills and if youre always getting kills and still losing then something i mentioned above is not being met and its why your losing games, remember valorant is a team game, kills are important but there are many other things that make a player good! much love

i need help with overheating, i have really good aim really good neon movement and always frag out but i go in too much and rats get me all the time how do i calm down (yes i have adhd which makes it worse)
The best thing to do is before every round remind yourself get one get out, or remind yourself to take it a bit slower and check corners etc, its easy to fall into what we do routinely if we dont take a second to remind ourselves to slow down. sometimes its that easy so before you go in or do anything think about it and come up with a plan to play a bit slower etc given the situation you are in, and overtime you will change your habit, but untill that happens you will need to actively tell youself to slow down! i hope this helps! much love

Sometimes I watch videos like this and I wonder what's the point coz the people who need to learn this stuff don't seem to bother learning it. Like the number's rules. I typically play in high plat/mid diamond lobbies and even there I still have idiots who isolate themselves trying to get kills. Then I have to clutch the 1v1 or 1v2 and then they say it doesn't matter we won the round. Really bro? That's not the point. The point is you put your teammates in a position to lose and then they blame me if I don't pull off the clutch

So close to getting out of plat this act, I was 96rr plat 3 but the quality of games I got after that went downhill. I played cypher on all games and performed consistently but you can't control the outcome of how your teammates play. Playing smart didn't help much on those games I have lost. It's random and climbing is impossible unless you constantly carry on a duelist role. Rn i'm plat 2 50rr and I think about dropping the game.
I came close to my rank after the reset so i am doing well even tho i am getting matched with ex dia, ascendants ;d (and my favorite phantom skin must be the reaver it feels as good as the oni but this is just my personal opinion)

I actually love your tips, but the problem with me is that consistency... it makes me frustraiting to the point where I keep loosing over and over again but just depends on the days where I play. I hit Diamond 1 around April which is actually make me happy and made my day because of incoming Intramurals that time and also I make new friends that who are Ascendants and Immortals, because of them I watch their playstyle and also learning communicating with one another into another level make me applying it to my playstyle, this is the reason why I ranked up winning streak of 9 games to Diamond 1, and after the Intramurals we actually got into 1st Runnerup. So the main problem is that after the happiest days turned into saddest days where my downfall again is back, beause of whiffs, tilting, the timing, or having bad lucks on games. Should I take a break? or keep pushing forward. Deranked from Diamond 1 to Plat 2 btw.
Hey, I'm sorry to hear that you have run into a bit of a rut but remember in life there are always ups and downs, usually a big drop after a big high but that's okay and that's normal, you should look into taking a break from the game let your body and mind reset and come back in a couple days and try again, sometimes you just need to step away for a bit, take some time off then come back with a positive outlook and determination and remember how good you were playing and youll rank up quickly! much love
My mechanics are already good and my people say I should be diamond-ascendant because if my aim but my teammates are always peak platinums and my enemies always peak ascendant. I usually tofrag-secondfrag my teammates are also toxic most of the time but if my teammates are diamond then I have good Comms

I was d2 in E5:A3 and at the start of E6 I placed plat 1, now it’s A3 and I’m hardstuck plat 2, lose -25 on a loss and gain like +10 on a win. Plat really fkn sucks

legit is stuck in this rank since beta due to never giving enough fucks about the game to rank up and it's all down to garbage teammates each time I lock duelist I get called a "smurf" until they see my career rank and see my peak is p3 but constantly match MVP and still lose with teammates that don't even reach double digits somehow but have the biggest ego/mouth this game is just truly not mechanically demanding enough to hard carry 3 dead weights when solo queueing
unfortunately this does happen! the best thing for you to do is to never solo queueing and if you dont have people to play with make sure when youre playing and you find people who are trying to win and are communicating to add them after the game and continue to do this so you never have to solo queue again, i hope this helps much love

I started at iron 3 and peaked dia 2. Idk what has changed with me but i cant hit diamond anymore. I try communicating but tokyo servers make it goddamn impossible to communicate because no one talks at all and sometimes i want some intel on where the enemy they died from were.
Hey! so if your team isnt communicating try your best to always play with a duo, and also if your teammate dies check the minimap as it will show you were they died from! it can be very hard to win without coms so hopefully your team starts to talk more! but if they dont hopefully these tips help aswell! much love!

Seems like it's a Japanese culture thing where a lot of Japanese are quite shy to talk. I tried to play before in Tokyo server and most Japanese rarely talks. They only talks 2-3 times in the entire game.

What do i do about the people who say I over communicate, and may get angry at me for saying something they might already have known. It really discourages me to speak during my ranked games when someone tells me to "stop talking".
try to only give coms that are necessary, and never back seat game, call out what you hit the enemy for, where you saw them, if they have any utility left and if you know someone has been doing the same thing every round, other than that you dont need to say to much! work on only giving necessary coms and dont let people get to you!

I literally got plat today and thats by just hitting double digits every game I plat I have lost every ranked game but 2 and I am plat it shows that it can be easy and I only play comp like 3 times a week all the other times I am in a practice or in swiftplay or deathmatch just getting better at the game but yeah if you have a good mind set valorant is a very easy and fun game and COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

dropped from d2 to p1 and stuck for one month plus in plat I can confidently say that this video is super outdated because you cant do shit against smurfs, no one is going to comm no matter how much u try to get them to, and your teammates will always be making dumb plays and not listen to comms at all
sorry to hear you dropped, but smurfs arent a massive issue, the issue is no one takes self accountability and blames it on external factors, if you have a million reasons on why you cant rank up and none of them are you you wont go anywhere, stop with a victim mentality and know that you can and will rank up if you choose to but the first step is realizing youre the reason you are there nothing else, everyone gets these lobbies and not everyone is hardstuck, find what you need to improve on and improve it, use these tips regardless of what the external environment is doing you will get teammates who do com and lsiten but if you stop just because sometimes you dont well you wont get anywhere, i hope this helps much love

Unfortunatly, the game is in a team of 5 so it's just obvious that if you'r teammates are not following the level you are on, the game is not winnable. This game has a Big percentage of luck based on the matchmaking. You just cannot say that people saying that are acting like victims it IS litteraly how the game works. You cannot ace every round or even do like 3 kills every round you'r not a pro so yeah obviously it depends on if you have bad teammates 1/2 games or 1/4.

you are playing against them because your MMR is high, and the diamonds you are playing against have low MMR, which means they are in lower ranked lobbies and you are in higher ranked lobbies, it is super annoying valorant does this, but it just means if you continue to play as good as you do, you will rank up quickly as long as you are winning! So believe in your abilities and win your games you got this! much love!

Right now I am Gold 3, and idk why but I always get match mvp in ascendant/dia lobbies(5stack with my friends) where I feel easy to play and also I mostly get plat/dia players as a gold 3 player since my mechanics are extremely good and my mmr is very high and also be the match mvp there but still I lose many matches... Even I reached gold 3 95 rr but I still lost(because of bad teammates and good opponents) and now I am gold 3 25 rr. hey! so one thing that happens to alot of people is they match MVP with alot of kills and get upset they lose and yes it can be frustrating, but if you are getting this many kills and not winning then somehting is going wrong and its not always your teammates, sometimes its how you are playing with your teammates, you need to be able to find impact other than just kills, are you setting your team up with utility? are you helping them get kills? are you communicating with them and helping boost moral? lots of things can ahve impact in the game other than kills and if youre always getting kills and still losing then something i mentioned above is not being met and its why your losing games, remember valorant is a team game, kills are important but there are many other things that make a player good! much love

i need help with overheating, i have really good aim really good neon movement and always frag out but i go in too much and rats get me all the time how do i calm down (yes i have adhd which makes it worse)
The best thing to do is before every round remind yourself get one get out, or remind yourself to take it a bit slower and check corners etc, its easy to fall into what we do routinely if we dont take a second to remind ourselves to slow down. sometimes its that easy so before you go in or do anything think about it and come up with a plan to play a bit slower etc given the situation you are in, and overtime you will change your habit, but untill that happens you will need to actively tell youself to slow down! i hope this helps! much love

Sometimes I watch videos like this and I wonder what's the point coz the people who need to learn this stuff don't seem to bother learning it. Like the number's rules. I typically play in high plat/mid diamond lobbies and even there I still have idiots who isolate themselves trying to get kills. Then I have to clutch the 1v1 or 1v2 and then they say it doesn't matter we won the round. Really bro? That's not the point. The point is you put your teammates in a position to lose and then they blame me if I don't pull off the clutch
