Thanks for all the great info on retiring Icon sets, some of my favourites to collect. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned to you, but the brightness of your studio light is way to strong, I have to dim my computer just to watch your videos.
Yes, it’s very unlikely that it will be discounted straight up to 40% off, but using discount stacking methods I described for the Atari set at 9:51, you’ll definitely have opportunities in the future where you can get that discount from LEGO.
Thank you Brian for all the in-depth research for these retiring sets. I've been eyeing on 60335 for a while now. It is currently missing from Brick Tap's spreadsheet but listed on BrickFanatics as retiring in Q42024. Which one should I follow in this case?
No problem! Ah yes, this set was 1 of 3 sets that Brick Tap got wrong last year, it was on their 2023 retirement list. For this scenario I’d lean towards it retiring this year, once we get into July, I’d check Brickset and see if they’ve added a retirement date. If they also say it’s retiring, it’s pretty much for sure unless it gets extended.
@@BrickDomain Lol, I thought Brick Tap was THE most credible source for Lego retirement info. Looks like they would still miss. Thanks for the reply Brian, much appreciated!
As you said, these are marketed towards adults, so I feel like there has to be more than 1 set on this list that will perform well in retirement, but the only one I'm liking is El Dorado Fortress. Can't wait to see which one I skip ends up doing well 😂
There is one awesome set that I have been picking up during this sale + GWP. Not sure what the super secret set could be though. Something 20% off that gets you $2.99 from honey. That narrows it down :)
You know it 🫡 for cash back, I used Honey since they’re offering $2.99 cash back for this set. Have been placing an order each day to capitalize on the Honey offers for several sets
Brian - thank you again! LOVE the animated Brick Dynasty logo at the end of the video. VERY sharp!
Awesome, appreciate the feedback!

Eldorado fortress will never be 40% off mate.

Do you think the porsche 911 will ritiring this year?

@@rdyt0 it’s still the most accurate list out there from the past 2 years, unfortunately not 100% perfect though

Yeah I’m also really liking Eldorado Fortress! Hoping the supply on eBay continues to stay low.
I think the space shuttle will also do pretty well!
I'm expecting El Dorado's retirement date be pushed back later this year, but def keep an eye out if there's good price.

Hahaha it’s one of the sets I broke down in my latest Patreon video 😬
More importantly did you pickup 5 of our super secret sleeper set now 20% off + 2X GWP + 5% CB from RMN

I entered the year not wanting to spend too much on investing until May, but the buying opportunities from LEGO have been too hard to pass up lately!
@@BrickDomain Unfortunately, I am banned from Honey for getting too much CB on Lego Exclusive offers.
@@howardk3346 oh no, how much CB did you get from them and how did you find out you were banned?
