The one thing you have to note about driving a hybrid, and breaks, is that you should look further down the road and coast rather than break at the last minute. It's not a regular car, and so it is driven in a different style. When reviewing them this should be appreciated too. Economy is the goal, not boy racing. In my current car, when needed, the breaks have been completely fine. And most of the time, I only use them for the last 10 meters at which point I am only doing about 5-10 kph. When following traffic, you leave a couple of car lengths, so that by taking your feet off the gas you hardly touch the breaks at all. I'm pretty sure, when driven properly, breaks and tires outlast ICE vehicles of the same weight and style by a pretty big margin.
Absolutely outstanding review. In fact, one of the best car reviews I have ever seen. Many thanks for taking the time to put this together. I love this car - just not sure if the boot will be too small, that's the only real downside I can see with this brilliant car.
Damn - never seen one of your vids but this was the most informative I've seen. So many postives but really helped me to think an NX might suit ME better... but damn is it clever and economic.
Fantastic review... Amazing car.. What's it like off road has anyone ever tried it off road.... Looks stunning.....perfect for everyday use.... Enough speed for me....
I agree about the headrests. The way they're quite severely angled forwards makes them uncomfortable for me. Worse of all, the angle can't be adjusted.
i drove one when my RXHybrid was in service....great little car with better suspension than my big boy. Only downside was its noisy 4cyl. .....nothing better than the V6Hybrid with its low rpm growling.
Lexus don't get enough praise in UK and Europe.
They are great cars. Very comfortable and unique.
Always head turner's. And never break down
An excellent and thorough review. You covered everything I wanted/needed to know about this great car, thank you and keep up the excellent work!
Thanks! I'm glad you found it useful!
@@Galaxy89cars absolutely! It was clear, concise and unhurried unlike some other reviewers who rush through.
One of the best reviews of this car, if not the best, and I'm saying this after seeing a lot of them. Cheers from Spain.
Thank you, I'm really glad to hear this 🙌
@@Galaxy89cars I have watched a good few reviews and I agree this was 100% well done need more like you to give a honest opinion .
This is definitely the best review of this car for me.. I'm picking up this exact model in a few days.. Thanks so much 👍
Happy to hear it helped you :)
Great review of the car, Lexus are great cars! Keep up the good work & glad you had a nice time in Wales
Thanks! I did, it was a great trip.
Great review - will definitely consider a UX in the near future, seems a perfect small luxury car for a childfree couple.
Thanks! 🙌

I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the amazing comment!
Why only few likes? First review giving true mpg figures, feedback etc. Great scenery too, I did 3 peaks in 2010 :) Best regards Dan
Thanks and congrats for doing the 3 peaks! 💪
Very very nice review, beautiful landscape,
thank you !
Thanks!
Excellent, patient, informative video!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic scenery. Wales and Scotland are a couple of the best mountainous areas in the UK. Great driving roads too.
I didn't realise how beautiful Wales is until I visited at the end of last year and you're right - great roads!
@@Galaxy89cars Oh really? Wales is spookily similar to Scotland
nice video , congrats, ... are MPG consomations realy correct?
I order a UX 250h F sport with E- four motorisation
Thanks! Yep, everything shown here is completely accurate. I wasn't paid to make this content, so I have no agenda other than the truth 👍

Nice review, beautiful car.

Great little car
Great review! Great car, in considering it
Thanks! It should make for a very well-built, reliable and cost effective driving option 👍

How was the interior noise, wind and such when driving 60MPH + ? Compared to a X1 or Mini Countryman ?
The real consumption benefits come from driving in urban environment, that's where hybrids excel
Tmr i am going to buy UX and I feel, that is good decision:)
I agree 👍
Would you recommend the UX or NX?
Both are decent cars imo. The UX probably feels a bit more refined.
Very good car but if I had the choice, id get the Subaru XV e boxer. Has less power but the engine has more character plus AWD.
Such a nice car that UX! Great video man!!
I just uploaded a video on the NX F sport if you would like to see it?
Thanks!
@@Galaxy89cars no worries man
Would you recommend UX or the IS?
I haven't driven the IS so cant really say unfortunately. Also depends on what you want to do with it.
Galaxy89cars company car, have a family but at the same time want a good image for myself
IS might be slightly better for that as it's a bit more 'executive'. ES would be an even better option.
Perfect thank you. I'll go IS👍. Keep up the reviews. Subscribed
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
Not a bad review….so you weren’t sure whether it was 4 wheel drive or not?
The UX comes in both 2 and 4 wheel drive configurations
Would you buy one of these with your own money
I would certainly consider it
