Your advice is well taken but, it may best, or possibly only, apply to a one-on-one personal relationship. An example in point is if your relationship is with several family members, several of them being narcissists and manipulators. In that situation, that group of people can make your life miserable. The son or daughter of a narcissist father may be easily influenced by the latter into believing anything he says about you behind your back. This situation is somewhat akin to a pack of wolves. A person who tries to be trusting, understanding, and forgiving has no chance in this group relationship... he will yearn for the moment to leave their company.

@ I asked her if she would come over here to my house by herself she said no and I know it’s because he’s jealous

Dealing with a narcissist you must set boundaries. They will never change, but you yourself can grow for the better.
