Is it n evil to walk away or go no contact if you have adult children that never visit or call, check in on you to see if your alive. Or just plain forgot you ? Im thinking about just waking away. Even the grandkids are spoiled and cold since I've gotten older. I feel used and uncared for. But I'm not sure if i should wall away. I dont feel comfortable around them when i do see them because of the estrangement, and it makes me feel stupid . What is the answer?😮

The hardest part for me is that it's my own adult children who are not there for me . Causing me to feel alone and uncared for. Flaky friends are easy to cut off, but it's hard to walk away from your own family. I never dreamed I'd be abandoned by my own.😢 But i've got to take care of myself. Because apparently no one else will. Grandkids these days are the same. They just want you when they want something from you. I never treated my mom that way. I was there no matter what.

When a blood relative hurts you depending on the severity of the damage you may or may not re chance a relationship. It's usually on strike 3 they're out if it's not life threatening. As for anyone not blood related it's a no go first sign of anyone trying to destroy you they must go. When you forgive you can move forward because you are doing it for your own peace. Never allow anyone to take your peace away. Even with blood relatives, you can forgive but never forget. Don't engage in anything serious or meaningful just try keep the peace before others get involved and it turns ugly.
