  • This video will show you how to install the aux option in to the w209 2007 CLK350
    I ordered the part number: A210 440 50 05
    I have the non navigation option with the CDC button which reads Aux input active when I hold it down.

    I have also heard that the aux option came with the Face lifted CLK models which is around 2007. This is true in my situation because it is pre face lift and did not have the connect. Best way to know is lift that kick panel open that flap and see. Easy to remove and put back in place. good luck.

    just bumped into the vid looking for a way to connect bt for streaming tunes plus hf calls . ! Great vid tks! just to complement and help out anyone else looking for the same, the connector exists but as others pointed out it's further front , you don't need to undo the side just remove the screw and front side panel in the footwell , it's a free 4 pin white one next to a blue one. Now you get with the cable you mention aux in the glove box but its pretty useless only for plugging in phones pads by jack male-male cable, if you want a bt module you will also need power that you have to steal from some other cable plus ground which is fairly easy but extra connections, might be easier just going behind the radio and connecting a bt module and finished ! cheerzzz 👍

    Thanks for uploading this video as I’ve managed to find the aux plug Further along the trim panel, try looking at the back of your radio the wires are brown, yellow and two black in the white block if so it should be there further along the channel, many thanks.

    Thought I would give my experience. I have a 2004 240 CLK convertible with the Harmon Kardon system and 6 disc changer in the glove box.
    I also get the AUX ACTIVE when I long press the CDC button, however after removing the panels I cannot find the connection (it may be there).
    Anyway I purchased a 3.5mm jack lead and just wired directly into the AUX connector on the back of the stereo, aux connection now active and working perfectly :)
    Total cost £2.

    • @julianjane7293
      @julianjane7293 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Juan Velez I got wires into the back of the stereo from the 6 disc connection in the back.
      The is a 3 wire connector with red, white and black cable I believe which is the 6 disc sound cable.
      I spliced into those. Press the CDC for Aux and it will work!

    Thanks for the tutorial - worked for me. The receptacle was buried way deep in wires, but it was there. Mine is a 2008 CLK 350 Cabriolet that had the CDC. It still makes no sense to me why this AUX hookup wouldn't have been standard in the car.

    you need to take off the side panel near the feet area. there's a 6 head bolt that needs to be removed first. the connection for the aux will be behind that panel. you didn't look far enough behind that flap that lies under the kick panel. i just took my panel off and found the connection.

    • @rahmatiTV
      @rahmatiTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try using a plastic wedge and pull it up. If your talking the plastic trim, it is held in by clips , so you need force to pull up. Should not damage anything, but if your worried get a plastic card or wedge and just start on one side and pry bit but bit till you reach the other side.

  • @JaviBugatti

    Hey bro. I did noticed another little panel that you didn't removed. On the side of the passenger bottom front right. Makes me believe it has to be somewhere in there. Just doesn't make sense they put AUX option and no connection.

      People here said I should look more towards the back, but couldn't find it and sold that car 5 years ago so never got it to work. I read on some forums the pre face lift , or prior to life cycle change it was not there. Have a look more towards the rear but if not it might just not have that option.
