Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories. I'm currently reading the Count of Monte Cristo so I may be some time! Happy reading.
Yay! Another video. I enjoy them! I picked up a Louis L'Amour book today off the sale cart at the library due to your enthusiasm for his books. We seem to have some similar reading tastes. I'm curious to know how you decide which books you want to collect. I finally have the space to build up my personal library and trying to not collect all the books. PS I love the birds tweeting in the background.
Oh good!!! I hope you love it. They are definitely comfort reads for me. 😊 How exciting that you get to start your own personal library!! That's such a fun spot to be at! 🥰 As far as book buying: I mainly purchase books that I've already read and know I will want to re-read. I don't purchase many books brand new. It has to be something pretty special for me to do that. Most of the time the books I'm able to get are fairly random since I buy many of them at thrift stores or library book sales. I keep a running list in my head of favorite books I don't own yet but want and try to keep an eye out for them. However, sometimes there is a specific book that I really want to read but my library doesn't have it and I can't get it as an ebook, in which case I'll look for it used online mostly off of Abebooks although I've also found some good prices on ebay. This way my personal library is almost entirely books I really love. Thank you so much for watching!! ❤️
Lovely video! I love that you surprise yourself at the end of the year with how many books you’ve read. And I’m so glad my videos inspired some of your reading! I definitely need to start the Henry Tibbet series. And you should do a video sharing some of your favorite Louis L’Amour books. I’ve never read him but you have intrigued me to want to try one. 😊
I've actually now read books 4 & 5 of the Henry Tibbett series 🤭 They've been such fun so far! I love a good Golden Age murder mystery. That's such a good idea! I hadn't thought about doing a Louis L'Amour video, but now I've spent the last couple of days trying to figure out which of his books would be my favorites 😁
Lovely recap! I’m a fast reader, too! I like some Mary Stewart. I only have a short story collection of Louis L’Amour on my shelf. I’ve never read him EXCEPT his memoir on self-education which I enjoyed so much! I need to try some of his. I’m waiting on the 3rd Mrs Pollifax from library. I’ve never heard of the last author you mentioned! ♥️
Thank you so much!! ❤️ I actually haven't read Louis L'Amour's memoir yet! I've owned a copy for a few years now and just haven't gotten around to reading it. 🤦🏼♀️ I thoroughly enjoyed the 3rd Mrs. Pollifax so I hope you love it too!! I hadn't heard of her before either but I'm really liking her books so far. 😊
It's something I started doing maybe 5-6 years ago and I've loved it. The surprise of finding out how much I did or didn't manage to read as also such fun! 😁
Wow I like spoilers and rereads too👍 redeeming love was a killer for me but I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t realize all that happened in that story beforehand

Thank you!!
Oh! That's such a good book!! Definitely worth reading even though it is a longer one. 😊

I haven't read Redeeming Love! I'll have to take a look at it. I'm pretty sure it's one I've heard of before.
@@woldenburnreads by Francine Rivers and it deals with child.. read description before as I didn’t think it’d be as descriptive and evil
I'm finally reading a Louis L'Amour book. Jubal Sackett
That is one of my favorites! It is definitely one of his longer books, but such a good story. I hope you enjoy it!! ❤️
