“And mom said all this time in the basement was wasted.” You would think that in 2023, given how far we've come in technology, to provide us some high-grade computer animation than we did in the 90's - that ReBoot's reboot would've been... well, an amazing upgrade. Y'know, like going from a janky, crusty Windows 95 to picture perfect Windows 10 or 11. But no, it- uh- became something else and now all we have is this. Imagine being the guy playing the lonely loser in that tribute episode, that's all he be remembered for now: playing an elderly hippie trying to pretend he's an internet neckbard. Pity what this series came to be, I guess giving the fans that made them famous was just too difficult to ask for, so they mocked them instead. I'd rather be remember for having a great show with only a few less-than-fantastic episodes-- than have a bad show with every episode being a POS.
The best way I can describe facebook meta is your dad trying to make the cool new thing for kids. Never works. You can always invest in something dumb kids like or make but never invest in what the current boomers try to make for kids as the next cool thing. Easy way to lose everything.

Season 3 felt like a testing ground to see what can they get away with when not stuck on network tv. I liked it but Reboot needs a balance between overly cliche children's cartoon shenanigans and grimdark.
Imagine you have fresh new OS, old hardware and software that you see for the first time with minimal tools and have no idea how to use...NO TH-cam MANUALS, no proper internet...good luck! I'll see how you manage to do something better :) Kids these days...don't appreciate what they have...
