    Wow, exciting times!
Say, what tow mirrors are you using? I'm sure you studiously researched various ones before settling on those. 😊
    Cheers, Eric

Sadly enough, I bought those mirrors when RVing was new to us and we didn’t do much research. LOL
I’m sure there are better mirrors, but they work fine for us. I can’t think of the name of the mirrors, but I did put a link to them in the description for our “Can You Tow with a Half Ton Truck?” Video.

Love that I-70 drive! I've heard a lot of flatlander talk about being afraid to take that pass, but if you don't you're missing out on so much!

In our annual trip from NC to camp host at Ridgway State Park we found the Vail Pass to be tougher than Eisenhower. The approach to Vail out of Frisco seems to take a little more grind to climb the grade. Safe travels.

Hey guys! We can’t wait to follow your summer adventures. We are also out for about 7 weeks. I think we just passed through your neck of the woods. We just came down the 25 from Casper Wyoming through Denver to Santa Fe. Safe travels this summer. Butch and Becky 😀

Hey, thanks so much for watching. We should be releasing videos from our summer adventures within the next couple of weeks (it’s hard to get them out faster while we’re having the adventure lol). Safe travels for you guys as well!

Most manufacturers state in their manuals to not use cruise control when towing. I live in the Sierra Nevadas and went from a half ton to a 3/4 ton diesel. Engine breaking and the torque at low rpm’s really made a difference.

I just found your postings. My wife and I are in Education and we’re looking to go full time and/or mostly traveling. How do you guys do it? Thanks for any help!

Thanks for commenting! We do teach in person during the school year, but spend about 7 weeks on the road during the summer- kind of temporary full time. Our adult son lives with us, so he takes care of the house, etc. while we’re on the road. One thing that we find helpful, far as paying for our trips, is beginning to plan and make reservations during the fall. That way the cost is spread out over several months. I’m not sure if this is the information that you’re looking for, but hopefully it helps. Good luck with your future travels!

@@TwoTravelingTeachers …thanks for your response. That’s about what we do now as well. It’s our goal to be full time in the next few years and to do remote consulting as well.

@@TwoTravelingTeachers OK, thank you! Are there no issues so far? I see some people prefer the 5.0. I am leaning with the same trailer as yours. 😊
