  • Just a normal guy who has never done this giving it his best shot. Seems to have turned out ok. I was going to make it a 2 part but I'm not a TH-cam wizard so you get it all in one. I will be doing more videos of the other stuff I have to install (PV3 Tuner, RCOR tender springs and more).
    Tools needed for belt:
    10mm socket to get cover off
    12mm and 10mm sockets to get clutch cage off
    gboost belt
    spreader bolt
    new scotch pad
    brake cleaner
    clean shop rag
    compressor with blow out nozzle
    Tools needed for clutch weights:
    10mm socket to get cover off
    RCOR clutch weight kit with cross and spreader bolt
    small flat head screw driver
    deep 9mm socket with small extension
    small hammer/rubber mallet
    snap ring plyers
    ** Update ** 3/1/22
    Finally was able to get it out at test her out! Went to Zona and had a blast in the sand. Did I side by side race with a stock KRX and... I had him out the hole and stayed ahead. On the top end he started catching me. I didn't try for a top speed as I'm not to interested in that but acceleration and throttle was excellent. It will turn these tires as good or better than it did with the stocks. I am very pleased and sasified with my purchase :)

    Trying to see which way the weights go in and which way the gboost belt goes on since there is no arrow on it. Sorry you did not show either

      At 11:22 I just put the ghost belt on where I could read the words, similar orientation as the stock I pulled off. For the weights look at 19:24. They go in with the hole for added weight on the outside. I hope that helps you, if you need any other help just let me know!

    Hi can you provide any feedback on G Boost Belt and weights? Or too cold and havent riddent yet?

      Nothing beyond doing laps in the yard. Definitely seems more responsive. Once I can get it out and test it in the real world I'll let you know how it feels and performs.

      Did some riding this weekend and was really happy with them. I also installed a dynojet pv3 tuner and compared before and after. Better acceleration with the tune. I didn't have a long enough straight away to do a 60mph pull but my 0-40 times were almost 3 seconds faster.

    Why not put new belt on last step to avoid zip ties?

    How are you liking these now? Do you think they help compensate for the 35's

    • @KRXBrandon
      @KRXBrandon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most definitely! The throttle response is better than it was stock. I haven't tried a top end test (no space to do that) but I'm not really in to riding that fast. I would highly recommend it if you go to 35s.

      Another update. Did a ride this past weekend and completely thrilled with how the machine is performing. I did a side-by-side run with a stock machine and was at least as fast if not faster off the line. Acceleration is great. I still have not done a top end speed test but like I said before that's not really something I'm into. I have also added a pv3 dynojet tuner and I think with the belt the clutch weights and tuner it has made all the difference.

      @@KRXBrandon Hey, where did you get your tune for you pv3?

    • @KRXBrandon
      @KRXBrandon  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RichardGoans I just used the default krx tune that came from dynojet. I may get another eventually but for now this is working well for me.

    Did this help with the high rpm while driving. It's really noisy in the cab

    • @KRXBrandon
      @KRXBrandon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really or if so, not very noticeable. I have been told that removing the spring will lower RPMs but I have not tried it myself.

    How many weights did you end up adding to each one?

    • @KRXBrandon
      @KRXBrandon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When I ordered from RCOR, I had to fill out a form about the tires, tune and elevation on my SxS and they preset them for what was needed. They came in without weights so I messaged them and for 35s, they said no weights were required. If I change elevations or tire sizes it could change what weights are needed so I will definitely keep that in mind.

      @@KRXBrandon This is the exact question I needed answered. I have the same tires and just bought the rcor weights. They didn't look "preset" so I a;m glad you already asked the questions.

      Since you’ve added the weights, do you have any issues with shredding belts?
