    If quality is at the top of your priority list then here is an adventure boat for you! The Nimbus T11 is a real step up from your average open boat in terms of space, functionality, accommodation and finish. This is a boat that would sit happily next to the much more expensive and very large open day boats that we see running tenders to super yachts in the Med and slowly making their way Down Under as well.
    This is dead-set a boat you could hand down through the generations of your family. Just upgrade the outboards every decade and you're set!
    Anyway don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and keep an eye out for the test run video on this boat coming soon!
    Enjoy
    Dan Jones

    Nice review! You r almost right about the open bow. In the home harbor we do it the way you said but out in Stockholm archipelago we got about 24000 island, most of them untouched nature without buildings etc etc. We also have an electric anchor in the stern, so we just choose a calm little bay and put the boat directly to a cliff in the middle of nowhere using the stern anchor and ropes around trees from the bow. No stores, bars, piers or trafic. The only friend is the beautiful nature and perhaps another boat. 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪

      Very interesting! I have had the opportunity to go boating for your Midsommar (is that how u spell it?) in the archipelago and it was AMAZING! Everyone has a boat and the islands are so cool!
      We have started copying you with stern anchors to pull up to the beach instead. We don’t mount them on the stern like you do but I think if someone can design a stern anchor that is well hidden it could be more popular down here.
      Thanks for watching. I’d love to get back to Sweden when we can travel again! 👍

    I really like to watch people from other parts of the world, with other demands and usages, review things made for us here in Sweden. Very cool.

      I'm a big fan of Nimbus after testing a few of their boats now. Such a great product and works well for us here in Sydney too

      @@BoatLife_DansBoatLife yeah, they are so overbuilt that they should do well anywhere really. Out of reach for most Swedes though. A lot of the European made boats that come to Australia come in on vessels I control, the big roro car carriers, and sometimes we get some photos of the fancy bots in the cargo hold. Drool-worthy stuff.

    We saw this boat last week at the boat show. It's really nice. I'd like to see how you button up the pilot house for when it's raining. Also, I think you'd need the Air conditioning here in the US. Which probably goes in that storage area under the seats. That's probably where your seakeeper, if you option for it, would go. Nice video.

      The covers have an interesting fitting which secures the clears to the floor and looks like it would last a lot longer than press studs. I think you're right regarding the air con and sea keeper although i'm guessing too as the boat i saw did not have either fitted.
      Here in Australia we also find a lot of adventure style boats fitting air con in the northern states. They mostly go for the cabin versions and run air con via batteries and inverters.
      Thanks for the feedback and check out my test drive video on this boat if you haven't already. I'm a huge fan of Nimbus now and think this is a boat many people should consider if they are serious about adventure boat market.

    Hey Dan, Awesome boat and another great walk through… well done! Is a generator an option? Can’t wait to see her on the water. Do you happen to have a price, US$. Thanks

      G’day! No worries I’m glad you enjoyed it 👍… honest answer re genset - I don’t know? But looking at space available in technical room, midships storage and massive aft locker you can absolutely fit one. That boat is $680k AUD landed in Sydney, so it’s going to be much cheaper in America due to exchange and lower shipping costs. I don’t know the US dealers but if you follow the link in the video description to the factory website that should have info on the US dealers who can hopefully help. Also remember you guys do 110v where Europe and Australia are on 230/240v so best to ask an American about that as I’m not sure what/if any other changes need to be made for you guys…?

      I've struggled with finding one simple way for this. It seems my audience is a mix of USD, GBP, AUD, Euro, Swedish Krona, Dirhams & NZD. I'm getting blokes from Kuwait msging me now too and I don't even know the currency there? When I think of a simple way to display this i'll do it. Currently I'm not sure what to do?

    Biggest question for me is how does it compare to Axo and Saxdor?

    • @BoatLife_DansBoatLife
      @BoatLife_DansBoatLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      So I actually think that’s the wrong comparison. While yes it’s part of the adventure category this boat is a LOT bigger than both Saxdor and Axo. I think the correct comparison is more Pardo 38, 43 and Fjord 41 in terms of volume and build quality. The new Swan tender and X-Power 33 also look like fair comparison in terms of the build. So in a way the Nimbus feels like it has a bit of everything

    • @BoatLife_DansBoatLife
      @BoatLife_DansBoatLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Vassilis, i actually don't have a cameraman i just hand the camera to whoever's boat i'm filming that day and i teach him how to follow me with the camera. I'm trying to remember the parts of the shot which didn't get captured so i can throw it in there during the editing but i'm still learning. Thanks for the feedback mate i will get better over time!

    Looks dated with that wood finish.

    • @BoatLife_DansBoatLife
      @BoatLife_DansBoatLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I guess that’s personal choice but I reckon this timber finish will do well for the long term. Also if you have a chance to smell it you might just change your mind 😀

    • @hautehussey

      Yeah, dated right now but might hold up better in a few years.
