We also visited Baku and Gabala last week.its a beautiful country but only problem is food. Although we eat non veg food, but found it difficult to adjust to their cuisine

we were there in the first week of April. Weather was quite cold and windy. Would recommend carrying good jacket.

Museum is near Shirvanshah place.
You can walk around the narrow alleyways and find good spots with incredible views of Caspian Sea.

We did it by walking, as inside the old city taxi won't go everywhere. But per ride for around 2-5 kms of distance it roughly costs around 150-200.
