Coincidence indeed! You will have a great time learning this. This video excerpt comes from a longer course (90 min). You can find the link in description or pinned comment if you are interested! Enjoy Fauré, it’s gorgeous!
Thank you for watching and for your kind words! To answer quickly your question: it’s psychological, so first of all, don’t get terrified. I am not sure if I mention this in this video excerpt here. But what can help for control, is to play long bowings starting playling in forte and bit by bit you go into piano without changing much in the right arm. That helped me.
Lol why do you have two copies of the 5 hour work week. Also can you make a right hand bow video? I really love your technique, and I am currently having problems with thumb placement and tension
Someone got distracted during class lol 🤣 Because when I was living in Brazil, I ordered one copy. Then we moved out to the Netherlands, and there I ordered another one (as I left my stuff here). And now I am back in Brazil, that’s why I have it twice 😂 About right hand bow video, I think I have some videos about the subject. But anyway, it is a good one to put on the list for future videos! Cheers!
Since power and control are required to flow through legato passages, one must derive these goals through the basis of a three point stance wherein your power and control originate at each foot and the base of your spine. Your thoughts please.

Thank you so so much for this!! I need to perform this soon, but I'm terrified of getting shakey bow at the pp and ppp parts, do you have any tips?

@@IliaLaporevcellist Thanks for the response, and I always love the content you put out!
Why do you use third finger to start with?
It feels better for me to vibrate and to emphasise the E-flat, that is the reason.
@@IliaLaporevcellist seems awkward but again whatever works best
@amycollins2429 That’s true!
